We were looking forward to this evening, but left disapointed. The staff were polite, but not as attentive as you would expect. They also had little or no knowledge of grappa. The food was a mixed experience. The vitello tonnato was excellent, but our wifes...More

...but nothing impressive either. the place itself is really nice, nice decor and ambiance, service is also top notch but, when it comes to the food, i wasn't quite surprised... i had a carbonara which was not bad and my friend went for a melanzane...More

Hi Ricardo T, Thanks for taking the time to review our restaurant. It's rather surprising to find that your friend ate Melanzane alla Parmigiana as this dish isn't on our menu. Perhaps you visited sometime ago? In any case we are saddened that our authentic,...More

Hi MDubzz, I'm really glad to read that you found our food excellent. Not so happy that you felt it was expensive as we do try to keep our prices in line with other central Marylebone restaurants of the same quality. We hope the food...More

I've eaten here on several occasions and have always been impressed by the food and service. The ground floor is perfect for quick lunches and an informal atmosphere while the first floor restaurant is better for more formal dining and dinner.

With two work colleagues and wanted something not too ‘corporate’ (aka nice but also relaxed), local and fun. We walked around and stumbled on Caffe Caldesi and are lucky we did. Awesome staff, super solid menu and very tasty food. The octopus (among other things)...More

Went here for a family gathering. Food is fairly heavily priced (central London for you) but everyones meal was well cooked and presented. Far enough from Oxford Street to be away from the tourist masses. Steak was nice but far from memorable. Fish was good...More

Hi Francy B, Thanks for your lovely review! Best regards James D

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
