Was here as a party of 10. First thing to note is that total bill was less than £500 including (admittedly not too much) wine, which for Marylebone is very good value. I ordered Risotto (Tuscan Sausage and smoked Pumpkin) followed by Sea Food Grill (sea Bream Salmon Squid and King Prawn). Risotto was excellent if somewhat over seasoned (salty)... More

Wife, stepdaughter and I had a late dinner. The waiter was a tall, young Italian guy with curly hair and an attitude. We ordered our food and wife asked for a Pinot Grigio. Attitude said "we don't have Pinot Grigio but we do have Chardonnay, Muscadet and Sauvignon - they are the same thing". I couldn't believe what I was... More

Went Easter Saturday. Was pretty quiet as to be expected. Staff very pleasant. Food was fine but I thought very expensive for what we ate. Not sure if I would go there again at that price as there are plenty of other restaurants nearby by which as as good and a lot cheaper

This is great little restaurant tucked away in the centre of Marylebone. We ate in the bar downstairs which was small and cosy with a lovely atmosphere. The service was attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We had ravioli with blue cheese and the aubergine parmigiana which was simply to die for! There was a good... More

You meet all your expectations while visiting Caffe Caldesi. Nestled in the beautiful Marylebone Lane, with the option of having a cafe in the terrace the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. True Italian food, unpretentious and very good. Had the Burrata with roasted Pumpkin and toasted Almonds (loved it), Calamari in Casserole (my husband liked it very much)... More

If you like good simple Italian food this is the place to be. It is located in the pretty Marylebone Village where you will find lots of places to eat. In the warmer weather, there are tables and chairs outside. The coffee is excellent and the and pasta dishes are very tasty. I would say the quality of food is... More

I was due to meet here for a business lunch and my guest was delayed. His loss! I had a single mixed fish grill with generous plate including salmon, Calamari, sea bream and Super sized prawn and a side of spinach. Just wonderful. Bottle of San Pellegrino for £37 includes service

My wife and her sister booked an evening at the cookery school for respective husbands birthday presents. It is a novel idea. Chief Stefano proved to be a good host and made a big effort with everybody. Lots of advice and tips. We effectively cooked a four course meal which was very good accompanied with wine. Nice touch that he... More

This restaurant serves Fresh, Hot and Tasty food. Not surprising as it operates a school for chefs. Most eateries leave the food on the side or under a lamp which ruins the food, also this is cooked to order and not in a Microwave. The neighbouring restaurants all use Microwaves for a more expensive meal. Some of the size portions... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
