Had the Margherita Pizza tonight and loved it. Service was excellent and fast. Close to our flat and recommended by locals.

Mid week supper at a local place, easy right? Hmmm. It is too noisy, really loud. The music needs turning down. The staff need to pay more attention, stop chatting at the pass with the attractive (?) chefs and start looking at customers. Starters were actually good - asparagus and poached egg perfectly cooked, roasted veggies very tasty......the mains however... More

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive friendly staff and fabulous food. Give yourself a treat and visit - we did - twice! First time was pizzas all round from a great choice on the menu and clean plates all round despite the huge size of the pizzas. Fresh thin crust, ample fillings and high on taste. No complaints there. 2 nights later we... More

Italian style menu with pizza which you can see being made freshly, including the starching of the pizza base. Casual environment and good to take the kids to.

This place is a relaxed local pizzeria with an informal atmosphere, but above all the pizzas are excellent. Thin crust, not too much in the topping, and of generous size. The service is efficient and the prices are reasonable. Slam dunk.

Have lived in the area for over a decade. Le Coch is always popular with the locals, principally for its good selection of thin crust pizzas. Eggs are good too. Very family friendly, but you'll often find people who have just played tennis at the club opposite, and couples too. Big screens show any major sporting occasions that are on... More

I visited for weekend brunch. The service was terrible, the waiter was miserable and appeared to have little interest in offering any customer service. The food was terribly over priced and for a "family" restaurant offered no children's menu so I had to pay a full price for an adults portion that my daughter only ate half of. We waited... More

This is one of the few places where you can have a decent pizza and food in Maida Vale / St John's Wood area. The place is always quite full (but has a lot of capacity) and has this mix atmospheric of a restaurant/bar. Waitresses are really dynamic and the italian cooking staff guarantee amazing pizzas and food. The lasagne... More

Brunch was ok, small portion and rather low value for money, but 45 min wait time with kids clearly made it worse... They need to sort priorities and service.

The place itself is not great and the service quite slow, but the pizza wasnsuper good! As Italian I feel legitimized to say that. We didn't try the fish.

Tucked away in a leafy corner of Maida Vale in north London, Le Cochonnet is every W9-denizen's favourite local gem. Located on the junction of Lauderdale and Castellain Roads near Elgin Avenue, this colourful Mediterranean eatery is always busy with local families and couples who adore the thin-crust pizzas, salads and delicious pasta dishes. The restaurant isn't far from the Paddington Recreation Ground making it ideal for post-tennis Pimms-and-pizza dates with friends. The buzzy vibe and bright decor here make you feel you're on a seaside holiday, and signature dishes include the Fresh pumpkin and goat's cheese ravioli with sage butter; Seafood linguine and the Fiorentina pizza made with spinach, olives, Parmesan and a dense yellow burford brown egg. A private room with outside deck is available and there is also an all year rear floral garden.
