About
SET ON ONE OF LONDON’S MORE DIVERSE COMMERCIAL STREETS, THIS ENTERPRISE HAS PROVEN SO SUCCESSFUL THAT IT NOW STRETCHES TO THREE SEPARATE OPERATIONS IN THE SPACE OF FOUR STORE-FRONTS: A CAFÉ; A PÂTISSERIE OFFERING BAKLAVA, HOUSE-MADE ICE-CREAM AND OTHER SUGARY GOODNESS; AND MAIN RESTAURANT, ALWAYS HUMMING WITH CUSTOM FROM A WIDE VARIETY OF DINERS. The menu covers all the Turkish basics and more. Starters include a richly flavoured, kelle paca (lamb soup), lahmacun, the standard dips and other, unabashedly basic goodies: sahanda sucuklu yumurta... Our restaurant is famed for its pides: not too doughy and generously topped. The dishes are true to the flavours of the region, with the mixed mezze including familiar items such as tabule and grilled aubergines along with more unusual dishes such as spiced lentil koftes. With 'Gaziantep' ('Glorious Antep') specialities marked up on the menu, you'll be certain to get an authentic taste of traditional Turkish cuisine no matter what you select.

Used to come here very regularly from about 10 or 15 years ago. Was great value for money, portions large, and we had a great time. The food is still tasty, but the portion sizes have been shrinkflated to a ridiculous extent, and the prices sky high. This is not unique to Antepliler, but it is more apparent than other restaurants. I realise that prices of everything has gone up, but to me, this seems over the top - but maybe that's just me. The platter supposedly for 4-5 people costs £112 now. A soft drink is £3.50 and a Lamacun is £5.50

Lahmacun was good. We ordered hummus with lamb. The hummus itself was good but the lamb wasn’t. Sausages were fine. I regretted ordering aubergine yogurt as it tasted just like the cucumber yogurt they serve for free. Kebab with bread, herbs, tomato sauce and butter burgle and yogurt was a really delicious dish. Turkish tea was good. The kunafa was amazing. Good staff, medium-high prices.

Me and my husband went to this restaurant because of the positive reviews, we had a nice time and delicious food plus great ambience.
However the portions of the food didn’t reflect the price, it was delicious but nothing amazing or over the top, basically good overpriced food... we went for the Sogan kebab which was great but again as I said small portion it’s laughable for the price you pay..the Lahmacun is one of the best I had I must say and I had plenty before.
We also had the Kunafa with cream on top, now being an Arab I know what a great Kunafa or even good Kunafa tastes like, this one was below average, all it tasted of was sugar and sugar and then some more sugar. Disappointed about the kunafeh..we ordered one for the two of us but still struggled to finish it because of the taste, I would usually have that plate all for myself if it was good :/ if you want good Kunafeh go to Edgware road.
Also You can have the same experience in any other less expensive Turkish restaurant.
Also one big negative I hated is that the staff were constantly hovering over us, waiting to collect the dish as soon as we finish. That was so annoying I felt like I’m being watched as I eat not to mention they have more staff than customers! I hope they improve this and spread out staff more instead of creating a big line standing on your table lol

We ordered Adana Kebab and we were asked how we like it?
We thought what type of question that is.
Adana Kebab is Adana Kebab that it is very famous Turkish Kebab that everybody knows it.
We said anyway and helped the waiter for the question saying that; normal Adana Kebab.
He tried to explain the question asking; what salad would you like inside? We said again; normal.
Waiter went and came back with Adana Kebab. We had ordered wrap. The meat and kebab was just OK, not great. Salat is only something green and the bread of the wrap is cold and it was just dry.
I think they put the kebab meat a cold bread with some salad and that is it.
This place is very famous so that I think they do not have any care or business capacity to sustain a good service. Service quality is very low.
We discussed this with friends who went there more than once. They all have similar stories. For example, one of the stories, Künefe without Kaymak even ordered, late service, reluctant waiters.
We all decided that we will never go back there and we do not recommend it at all.

This place was the one of the best Turkish restaurants in London but not anymore. Quality of the food hit the ground and prices are very high. Also %10 service charge on top of already high bill is not acceptable. Sorry, "dost aci soyler ama dogru soyler"

I had been dying to come here. All my Turkish friends had raved about the place for service, quality and experience. Now that I live in Turkey too I was really looking forward to a taste from home. Unfortunately I didn’t experience any of it. The food was lovely but the service was absolutely appalling. I know Turkish hospitality and service and this was not it. No tea was offered, I had asked for a single raki and they brought me a double, nobody asked us whether we wanted anything else at the end of our meal and finally it took them about twenty minutes to bring the bill when they finally brought it, it took them another ten minutes to pay for it. We were essentially completely ignored. I would not recommend Antepliler and I will certainly not be going again any time soon. Shame because the quality of the food is good.

How can it get a 4.3!!!? Also just looked another review “great prices “ ! Are you serious . Lived off of Green Lanes for 20 years , a Turkish dinner used to be maybe a twice monthly , now once in a blue moon , due to prices . You used to get value for money , lots bread salad and meat galore . Anyway I digress .Last night that food let the restaurant down . Tiny boring salad , the usual bread was raw undercooked flavourless and had a strange yeasty taste ! Icli kofte main , flavourless , the coating again raw , filling I think had crunchy chip peas , dumped on the plate with a bit of yogurt and it comes at a whopping 16 pounds I think . Another favourite bulgar wheat , no seasoning , dry and again thick with raw hardly crushed chick peas . One of the regular staff asked me why I had not been for such a long time , answer prices , and now the quantity of the food . And honesty on the menu how are they getting away with well done standard lamb chops at 23 pounds it’s nuts !!! Shame . Yet another eatery of the list

Racist, in one world. At least the waiter. There was a clear distinction in the treatment of non-white customers as oppose to white customers. It seemed that servers were ready to lick the boots of white customers while wanting to get rid of people of other colours. It was so apparent that it's almost hilarious. The server was very disrespectful to my father. Food was overpriced. there was no real flavour except meats were marinated with a lot of MSG. People are better off going to the Edmonton area where Turkish places are much nice, good customer service and authentic at a great value. Avoid!

Very disappointed.
The food was tasteless and very bland, no seasoning and everything was dry and horrible.
The service was very bad and really no effort on any.
The Pide was horrible and very thick, the chicken was tasteless and the Lahmacun was very bad and hardly any salad for the Lahmacun as well.
I won’t be returning whatsoever here.

Ordered Doner called Iskender which served on the bread and sauce on top and yogurt on the side of the plate.
It was cooked to perfection, taste was delicious and very generous portion.
Bought Baklava from the same group. Baklava was the best baklava I gave eaten in UK. Fresh, not to much syrup and nice pistachio filling ( not cheap but worth for its quality )
Big Thank you to chefs who prepped and cook these dishes. Very Highly recommend !!!
I can not say the same for service but they were OK

I had planned a visit with my family to this restaurant for a long time as we know how good the food is here, however upon our arrival we were greeted not even with a smile on the waiters face. Time came to order our starters, and the food came which tasted amazing as usual. However there were several things wrong with our service.
1. There was no bread on the table, this is traditional Turkish table manners to bring bread to the customers.
2. The people who served us were really rude and didn’t even come back to clean the plates, to ask if the food was okay or if we even wanted to order main meals.
3. We wanted the bill waited and 20 mins with miserable waiters standing everywhere in the restaurant doing absolutely nothing, still no one came to look at us.
4. At the end the manager came to take the payment after waiting for the bill for so long and he had the guts to ask us if we wanted some tea. No I don’t want any tea.
I would not recommend this restaurant.

I am a local. I used to eat in once a week or so, before Covid. The Manager, Magi is just lovely. Alas, I'm having to order food in now, as we are shielding. Order arrived close to an hour after placing, stone cold with two items missing and only a very small portion of rice (not nearly enough for four people as is usual when eating in house). I called the restaurant and one Yasir agreed my order was wrong but said he could not send the missing items. I asked to talk to Magi but was told he isn't working tonight. Yasir basically told me 'do what you want madam'. Sadly, this place is not what it was.

Walked into the takeaway restaurant and two men were behind the serving counter. I asked them how much it would be for a doner kebab and chips and one of the men said £22! I thought he had misheard me so I asked him again and again he said £22 for one portion. I looked to the other guy as clearly this was some sort of wind up and the other man told me it was £22, but for me he would do it for £12?! Utterly useless and incompetent service. I walked out and wouldn’t recommend anyone going here as clearly they are just trying to rip people off. Other kebabs are available down the road where are much more affordable and don’t involve rude staff.

My first visit to eateries of Harringay. A very busy bussly area with restaurants busy on the night of Eid.
So pleased we chose this venue. A very relaxed atmosphere and exceptional service.
The meat was so tender - we tucked into a mixed kebab feast with lrvars, houmous, a wonderful fresh salad topped off with a glass of delicious Ayran!

We ordered lahmacun from antepliler for our nephews graduation celebration we hd a family gathering. When the lahmacun arrived it was the bigges dissapointment. It was not cooked properly with hardly any meat tasting like tomatoe paste. We called them and they did not handle very well. Saying it was all fine so we took it all the way back to them to show thats not normal! They were absolutely rude as if we are making a big deal. When we got the new one returned home you would expect them to make sure its cooked as thats why we are coming back. Absolutely not!!!! Again they gave us uncooked lahmacun with hardly any minced meat on there. I will show this to all friends and family and not to waste their money with you guys as we had to throw them away and buy pizza instead!! You can literally see how uncooked the dough is from the photos🤢
