Nothing fancy there, but lovely friendly staffs and local residents’ traditional food. Would recommend for experience of another side of Londoner’s normal life.

Visited WJ Arment's on Saturday before football. Haven't had pie and mash for 3 months now. Have to say the quality and service hasn't changed one bit, double double went down a treat. Simply the best pie and mash anywhere in London Town
