Went as walk ins and luckily got a spot as it was booked up like everywhere else around West End. Great Portuguese tapas and wine. Only wished we had had another time for a full meal.

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Nice cold cuts (the cheese is nothing special) and absolutely beautiful fish croquettes. Bacalao a la bras is definitely the flagship course. The wine menu is decent and prices are not high. I certainly recommend this place pre or...More

Went with group of friends for pre Christmas lunch.had been recommended for Portuguese food. It's really a cafe. Clean but no ambience. OK for a quick meal nut not a place to linger for social lunch,

Really good pastries and cakes. Nice vibe. Good wine. But ... Dinner is reheated, expensive and a big disappointment. Sad.

Visited as a group of 4. 1st wine choice not available, no rosé port and not enough pastel del natas left. Friendly staff but odd toilet arrangements. To me us seemed overpriced for what we actually had but then it is London.

In an area awash with expensive and disappointing traps for tourists and locals alike, Canela's honest quality really shines. Portuguese staples served without fanfare and lots of flavor, that's what you'll get here - happiness will come... :-)
