This venue seems great for casual dates and dinner with a few friends, but things are a little worn and need a little sprucing up. The restaurant suggested 2 starters per person, 3 mains to share between two people, some rice or noodles and additional...More

Had a great meal here last night, I love the Korean BBQ concept and it's surprising there aren't that many in central London. The BBQ platter is reasonably priced for two and it's a unique experience!

Description
The march of very, smart, modern and intriguing eastern restaurants in London continues apace with the arrival of Koba, handy for the Dominion, the British Museum, and all the booty of furniture-design-land around NoHo. Koba offers a lovely dining room with minimalist decor in a style that's very now. The Korean menu includes its speciality of table BBQ, as well as beautifully-presented dishes like Samsaek milssam(korean style wrapped pancakes with meat & vegetables stuffing) to start. Next go for the BBQ of Koba modeum gooi(grand assortment of meat, prawn & vegetables) or try something different such as yookhwei dolsot bibimbap(steam rice with raw beef & vegetables in a korean stone pot) or busut mandoo jeongol(mushroom casserole with dumpling & various mushrooms).
