Popped in for pre-theatre pizza. Wife is coeliac and so wanted somewhere we trusted. Restaurant is small compared to most other PE's but this wasn't a problem. Service was quick, friendly and attentive without being in your face. Starters were nice; Gluten Free dough balls dopio (with the extra dips) and calamari (not GF). The calamari was amazing! Pizzas were... More

It's an okay price for dinner, but I found the pizzas they serve only average in quality. It's a shame that London pizzerias do not seem to try hard enough to cook well IMHO.

I don't normally write reviews after visiting Pizza Expresses because their universal conformity means that they are never great and never dreadful but our experience last Saturday was the exception. Armed with a two courses for about £12 voucher we went here to the middle of Soho. The staff, in particular, were excellent and everything else was well above average.... More

The food was fine and what you expect from Pizza Express - always love a padana! The service was good with friendly staff. The restaurant is very small and really cramped though, I felt very penned in.

The service was friendly but that's the most positive I can be, i thought sloe prosecco was barbecue of the sloe gin added, but i think it should be renamed slow prosecco. Eventually it arrived as plain prosecco. When I asked if the sloe gin was added at the table, the waitress apologised and returned with 2 raspberries on a... More

We went to Pizza Express for dinner in Jan 2017. We waited a very long time to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables around, although some of those tables looked like they hadn't been cleared and cleaned. Customers actually left because the waitresses were taking so long to seat people. There were two waitresses and a... More

Visited with family as we went to see a play near by. The food was okay, but expensive for the quality. However, they offer gluten free pizza bases which was why we chose the restaurant. The layout is terrible and you feel like you are in a shop window

Me and my boyfriend ate here on New Years Eve. The restaurant wasn't as busy as we imagined and we got sat down straight away, as did everyone else who walked through the door. We were served drinks right away and everything was going well. We placed our order with the waiter around 8pm. We both ordered from the new... More

While eating here on Sunday night we spotted a cockroach strolling along the floor in the downstairs section !! I've eaten in many places in London & this is truly a first. Waitress seemed all too familiar with it, simply picked it up with some tissue & threw in the bin. Bathrooms also in very poor condition (no paper/soap etc),... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
