About
West London’s award-winning French restaurant, Le Vacherin, is shaking things up this September with some exciting changes to its management team and menu. Donna Thompson- Smith, is now sole owner. Thompson- Smith has many years of hospitality experience having previously co-owned Brasserie Vacherin in Croydon and Sutton, Cassoulet in Croydon, and Fish & Grill in Croydon and Putney. Thompson- Smith has appointed Marc Wainwright as executive chef, a decision Thompson- Smith says came easily, given Wainwright’s passion for French cuisine combined with a penchant for Asian, Japanese, Italian and Nordic ingredients, which ensure Le Vacherin’s menus continue to evolve and excite. Dear customer, it is really rare to find customers like yourselves, we did really appreciate the banter and the laughs, even if the day was one of the busiest of the year, due to the six nations rugby gathering. We did decide to award you...More

The Restaurant had a fantastic buzz this Sunday. The staff were friendly and the food was a perfect representation of a British Sunday Lunch! My mother in-law & I had the Aged Topside whilst Hubby opted for the Roasted Pork Belly. Will certainly be back...More

My other half surprised me with an evening at the theatre and Dinner at Le Vacherin. Although we opted to head straight into Mains, what we did try was phenomenal. Goosefish Tail and BBQ Octopus was my choice and I have no regrets Ha! The...More

There's a lot of good here, I've been a dozen times over the last 15 years. I will still go back but despite all the good and excellent, the wines, the service, french refinement and touches of brilliance there is still a large measure of...More

I am a fairly regular visitor to Le Vacherin so it was an early port of call when I was arranging a celebratory dinner for 17 people. Everyone was extremely pleased with the occasion; special requirements were catered for, service was good, food and wine...More

Having read a lot of good review about this place, I gave it a try. Instead of ordering steak which seems to be the most popular option, I ordered the cream of cauliflower soup , salmon and creme brûlée. The food was beautiful and I...More
