I love Pizza Express. Always have and always will. Tucked in a Bloomsbury back street, this one has a cool look that's in keeping with the overall building. Obviously it's the standard menu and I always go for the same pizza (La Reine with pepperoni...More

This was our first visit to a Pizza Express and it will definitely be our last. I have never eaten such a thin pizza. My opinion is that this chain is geared towards ripping off tourists - charge them a lot for a pizza that...More

Called in here for a quick meal following a visit to the British Museum. This PizzaExpress is less than 200 metres from the Museum and Coptic Street is quite a fascinating small back street. The restaurant is in a rather interesting old building that used...More

Breezy and casual atmosphere, one of the more quirky and original Pizza Express locations. Same dependable menu as everywhere. Cool ceramic walls of an old bakery I think a little too cool in December, anyway. Tucked away a little but once one gets one's bearings...More

After a visit of several hours to the British Museum (just a few hundred metres away) you will probably want to refuel. This local branch of PX is so handy. The staff are very friendly and are usually prompt at service. Great way to keep...More

Bring a boring person I had the same meal today as I did yesterday, it was almost twice the price at PizzaExpress compared to Pizza Pilgrims. And the food was probably better at Pizza Pilgrims. Service good at both places, staff attentive. PizzaExpress is living...More

Description
Situated two minutes from the British Museum in Coptic Street the restaurant is a popular place for both families and tourists. Close to the heart of theatre land in the West End of Central London, the restaurant was established in 1967 and was the second PizzaExpress to open. The tiles on the walls are the original to the dairy and many of its features date back to 1967, which gives this restaurant a unique identity.
