Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stumbled across the belle after visiting the shopping mall at the power station, we came down from Ipswich and was ending up at the o2 for a concert in the evening, the belle looks really nice from the outlook , once we entered the pub...had a really nice feel , with friendly staff. We had a few drinks and a bite to eat , which was really nice , we enjoyed it so much we will definitely be popping in some time in the future to try something else on the very appetising menu. Also had a chat with the owner who seemed very nice . Keep the good work up 👍More

Beautiful building matched the greeting from the attentive friendly staff we received on entering the Duchess Belle. Inside again mirrors the outside with a lovely setting, giving a very relaxing vibe. We had a most excellent breakfast. I highly recommend the Bad Boy breakfast special:...what a feed for a very reasonable cost. Our entire party loved their food. Will return.More

It is good to see this tradition pub has survived demolition, the whole of Battersea has been redeveloped, and there are a lot of wonderful modern places to eat, but on reflection it’s also nice to keep places like this. A wonderful friendly Australia chap...who had only been working a short while at the pub was helpful with our choice of table, and took or order. We chose burgers from a very extensive list, they were excellent, I also indulged with a bottle of Champagne (well it was a Sunday 😗)More

The inside of this pub is adorned with flowers and floral ceiling paintings. It serves your standard selection of beers and ciders. They’ve got outside seating out the front and upstairs so you get can catch a view of the magnificent Battersea Power Station.

Bad tempered, rude Manager (older bar male person)! and a untrained young bar person. Asking for two Bloody Mary's but one with no condiments drew us into a long discussion about that not being a bloody Mary, only a vodka and tomato juice. The older...person being aggressive, rude and arrogant - the second drink should have all the spices but mild. We were charged £17.90, and went to sit in the garden. Really happy as this was my 80th birthday treat. One sip of mine made me gasp for breath!! It was so spicy and undrinkable!! My companion also, after a sip agreed. She went and bought another tomato juice to try and tame the spiciness and asked the young make bar man how much he had put in the drink and the answer was 'only a bit'!! It tamed nothing!! We decided to leave. The man who we thought might be the manager, waved cheerfully and wished us a lovely day. No concern for my well-being and no apology! I hve never been spoken to like this as a customer in any shop or pub before!! I used to own a pub and would never have spoken to my customers in this way. I can only hope that he can learn that the customer is more often than not, right!!More

The food was absolutely revolting, ridiculously overpriced, and utterly inedible. It tasted like it had been pulled straight from a freezer, and there were obnoxious football hooligans everywhere. With so many superior options nearby, steer clear of this place at all costs!

Went for friends birthday. We ordered fish and chips and a burger. Fish and chips came. No peas. It was as if they had bought the cheapest frozen battered fish and oven chips from the supermarket. £17 for something you could have heated up in...the oven at home. Burger tasted like a cheap supermarket frozen burger with oven chips. Definitely not your normal pub grub. Place was packed with people watching the football. Very few staff on. I emailed the manager to complain about the quality of the food but never received a reply. Avoid this place at all costs!More

What a lovely place. Went here before we went to Battersea Power Station. Greeted by very friendly staff. Y daughter and I had Scampi and chips which was delicious, there was such a lot of beautifully cooked scampi very crispy on the outside. Hubby and...Son had the burger and chips which was huge but they said was perfectly cooked. Great value for money. The decor was lovely inside and out with lots of flower walls that was dust free and beautiful colours. Place was spotless although very busy as the football was on the televisions. Hubby went into the courtyard and said it was lovely with lots of tables and benches but we didn’t want to be outside as thought there might be wasps etc. Great service and staff all very pleasant despite being very busy as it was lunchtime. Will definitely be back if in that area again.More

Right opposite the Battersea Power Station Tube line so east to spot and get there. A proper London pub with a good selection of beers and a great hidden garden. We had visited Lift 109 and stopped off here on our way home via the...tube. Decorative interior and lots of different tables to sit at. With our second pint we ordered a plate of thin chips which was a good call as they were yummy.More

This is a great, proper London pub. On entering we were greeted by a friendly barmaid, Battersea girl and the drinks were good, reasonably priced and well kept London Pride. We returned later after a visit to the power station and again were welcomed by...both staff and other drinkers. We opted for the 2for1 burger offer that was really tasty. Though being and old fart I’d have preferred chunky chips to fries! The burger was really tasty, served in no time at all. The garden is a hidden treasure as well. Coming home to my old manor was made a delight by a visit to this boozer.More

A very disappointing experience. A poor, dry burger was made worse by the fact it was impossible to get a drink because there was only one member of bar staff for the whole place. After queuing for ages to order, we queued for ages to...order a second drink which we didn’t have time to order as our food arrived (really late), and when it was delivered we got poor food without condiments and no drink to make it more tolerable! The poor lad on the bar was clearly struggling which wasn’t his fault, but when you go to a bar in such a good location sympathy for the staff isn’t enough to earn it more than one star!More
