Friendly staff and good service, we chose the mushroom risotto with truffle oil for lunch which we found very greasy and unedible everything else about the pub was ok.

Visited when on business in the area. Had dinner and drinks. Although a bar the food was first class. The steak was cooked to perfection and flavoursome. Draught beers continue to change and offer the best in choice. There is always a good crowd and...More

It's right across the road from the Imperial War Museum. This is a very cute little pub. They have a great selection of Beers (try the SE1 Stags Ale or the Bonkers Conkers) and very good food (way above traditional Pub food). Service is good...More

This little bar is across the street from the Days Hotel, after shopping all day we wanted to relax with a pint or two on our last night in London. This place has tables outside to sit. We ordered a pizza which we weren't thrilled...More

Service was sort of ok, not exactly welcoming. Location not ideal to sit outside in the sun as it's on a very busy road, but that was our choice and maybe we should have continued and found a less noisy spot. However the draught lager...More

Lunched here and enjoyed nice pizzas and a nice relaxing atmosphere. Staff were courteous and efficient and price was reasonable. Not sure about the ALTERNATIVE written on the pillar but assume this is omething to do with the art gallery upstairs. A nice place to...More

Ate dinner here on a Saturday night with my five year old. They were slammed and were running their tails off to make sure everybody was happy. They don’t have a kid’s menu, but they quickly offered to make her a child-size portion and then...More

Description
The Three Stags produces a menu of pub classics with a contemporary twist, with a focus on the best seasonal British ingredients. Their Sunday roasts are renowned round their parts thanks to their gorgeous 40-day-aged grass-fed topside of Yorkshire beef, Elwy Valley Welsh free-range leg of lamb** (which won an OBE from the Her Majesty The Queen), goose-fat roast potatoes, and double-egg Yorkshire puddings. There's also natural vegan and veggie options, which are bursting with flavour and made with fresh, seasonal and raw ingredients. Meanwhile, you can also opt for their delicious range of pizzas, created using their own wood-fire oven and dough that's homemade and stretched to order. But they put as much effort into their wine list as they do the food, boasting fine wines from around the world specially chosen to complement the menu. You can also expect local ales, craft beers, premium spirits and cocktails, as well as great coffee.
