Delivery with uber eats. Very poor, non fresh ingredients and all tasteless. Will not use again. Soup inedible, salad over salted, vegetables old and tired

We came here as it was highly recommended by a work colleague of mine. We had a group booking on a Monday evening and were warmly welcomed. Great choice of food available, please check out the specials and the "Ultimate pad Thai", pricing very reasonable...More

The food was wonderful. There weren't too many tables filled which is a shame as people are missing out. Go here and not to Pizza Hut.

I discovered after my food arrived that for the vegetarian curries, they simply spoon out the meat that it was cooked with before. I had chunks of god knows what meat in my curry. I am so disgusted. I hadn't been here before and I...More

It was a bit eerie to see the restaurant so quiet on Saturday night, but the food was well worth it. Starters of lettuce wraps, satay, spring rolls and tempura (no eggy smell!) went down very well. Mains of chicken, prawns, jungle curry and a...More

Tucked away in Kensington high street as you enter you are taken downstairs into the basement. Nice ambient room with pleasant music. Me and my husband were able to freely choose where wanted to be seated, after receiving the menu we waited slightly longer than...More

My first visit couple months ago was fantastic. Lovely service, great food. I'm kind of the person who always order same thing and I've been many Thai restaurants and I must say tom yum soup noodle with duck there was amazing. I was back there...More

I really liked this place, maybe a bit overpriced but food tastes so good, staff is nice and polite and there is a cool atmosphere.

We visited this week at 8pm for dinner. After descending a steep staircase the rather dull and tired restaurant awaits you. We were seen straight away and shown to a table. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water to drink, the waitress brought still water...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Description
This restaurant has been serving Thai food since the 1960's. We have been told by locals that it was one of the first Thai restaurants in London. The owners at the time were officials from the Thai embassy in queens gate, London. They missed their Thai food and could not find any restaurant serving this 'new to uk' cuisine. So a small group of them decided to open their own Thai restaurant. We took over in the spring of 1997 and began renovations. Our aim was to give the restaurant a fresh, bright and contemporary feel with touches of Thai charm. Walls were painted white, dark wooden floors were laid and low voltage 'chopstick' halogen lighting was installed. To this day, we are proud to be the only Thai restaurant in Kensington which is run, owned and cooked by Thai staff. Tapas dining is a great way to sample many dishes without committing to only a few dishes! You may order just from the tapas menu which you can enjoy smaller portions of our most popular dishes or order the conventional way of starters from the tapas menu, then your main course. Whichever way you order, we hope you will enjoy your meal!
