I loved this place. I booked this fairly last minute for me and some friends for my birthday and was pleased to hear that there is two floors so they could fit us in. I went with the ribs, one friend for the lamb and...More

Went for lunch - very quiet, but a miserable wet day. Excellent service, delicious food, especially the black pudding, best I’ve had anywhere. We didn’t have steak this time, though they are well known for it.

We had a table in the basement, might not be to everyone's liking down there, but it was ok. Needed guidance from the couple with us about some of the things on the menu, so you might need to ask on your first visit. Food...More

We came, we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, we left. Greeted by somebody who frowned as if we were a nuisance, took us downstairs and stuck us under a table with a heater blasting on our heads. We went back upstairs to ask to move or...More

Yeah, I booked through Open Table, or Bookatable....one of those. I'd recommend calling though as you can request a table upstairs which is nicer! Enjoy!
