The food, the service and the ambience were all amazing. I had the cheese burek as a starter and the chicken shish kebab as a main and they were both very yummy. Definitely worth a visit.

Tasty Turkish food at the Stone Cave restaurant in Dalston. Quirky decor but authentic cuisine at this long established venue. Good for carnivores, pescatarians, and veggies. Commendation also due for beautifully clean loos.

I've been going here for many years and the stand of food and service is very high at very reasonable prices. Turkish people dine there so it must be very good.

The service at Stone cave was outstanding, food delicious (especially the king prawn starter) and we loved the decor of the venue. Portions are generous and well priced, the menu extensive offering something for every taste. Great vegetarian options too, will return!

The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful. They are really welcoming to families with young children too. However the portions are really small for the cost and my meal came warm at best. I have been here many times before and found portions used...More

This restaurant in Dalston, Hackney has been in operation since 2002. It has continuously offered a wide range of authentic Turkish food, inspired by Ottoman recipes. The dishes are prepared with a well defined range of cooking methods and the aromas coming from the charcoal grill are mouth-watering. The Stone Cave offers breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, fresh juices, Turkish tea, organic tea, coffee, cocktails and alcohol. The location is ideal, easily accessible with Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland close by. The ambience of this establishment is enhanced by Turkish lanterns and unusual stone-like walls which provide a Cappadocian atmosphere. Belly dancing and Turkish music is a feature which in combination with the above, make this arguably one of the finest Turkish restaurants in East London. This is somewhere to come as a couple or as a party where you can be guaranteed a fun time and not be rushed!
