Borough market is a revelation for those scouring the produce of the world for foodie heaven. It can be exhausting - Applebee's is a great place to recharge the batteries if fish is ur thing. The choice is amazing (they will cook anything from counter...More

We found this restaurant on the way to the Globe Theater while walking through Burroughs market. This little hole in the wall serves fresh fish cooked in an open kitchen. The presentation was so pretty I took a picture of it. The service was great...More

First off this is Applebees UK, not the USA Applebees. Tucked away in NW borough market. We accidentally got sucked in here thinking that the fish fryers outside were connected to the restaurant inside. It wasn't. Soon found out too late that this is the...More

We enjoyed the fish and chips and the linguini with clams. It was busy when we were there so we ate at the kitchen bar. Service was friendly but nothing special making the automatically added service charge seem a bit rich. Sorry to read now...More

really like this place, has always been a favourite. Fix mixed grill is superb and my favourite is the lobster risotto. Feels more like a cosy café than a restaurant.

We sampled their food stall outside their restaurant They sell mixed fish and prawns or separate fish and prawn wraps. The best one was the fish wrap which was very good. However at 5 pounds each was a bit steep. Will try the other places...More

We loved it! We were warmly welcomed, the service and the food were excellent. What more could anyone ask? The soft shelled crab starter was particularly memorable, but all the food we had was beautifully cooked, and of top quality. We will return when we...More

We have visited Applebee's a couple of years ago and went out on a very cold night to see how they have fared since. Not a busy night, and a Monday, but the service was good, food was good and it's still in safe hands....More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

We love fresh fish. Since 1998, my family has tried to share that love with all of our guests through our fishmongers, restaurant and street food. Always focused on getting the best fish and keeping things simple. Our restaurant reflects in this; a simple, friendly atmosphere serving some of the best fish available alongside some of Borough Markets finest produce.
