Good food with hustle and bustle service to accommodate lots of visitors from the Far East. That must be a good sign if far eastern tourists stop by for some home cooking, or is it the service they missed?

Good service. Good food. Good value. Booking in advance is a good idea as this place rightfully gets busy.

Wanted to try some real Chinese food and that's what we got. Staff barely speaks any English (always a good sign) and it was pretty packed but you can write down your name on a list and come back whenever they tell you. We had the roasted duck, seaweed, dumplings, noodles and fried rice. Plus they have Thai beer 😊... More

We visited here in December whilst on holiday from Scotland. Genuinely the worst service I have ever experienced. The staff barely spoke 2 words to you, made minimal eye contact and had the worst attitude. At points we actually felt ignored. The food was fine. But not worth the price at all! Extremely disappointing! Ruined the last night of our... More

I ate here on 12th January, ordering char siu with greens and boiled rice. The char siu was dry and hard - basically inedible, but when I sent it back (something I very rarely do) there was no attempt to replace it; the manager was polite but didn't seem to care. Fortunately there are several good alternatives in Queensway.

Good food and fast service. A sign of the good food is that there are visitors from the far east eating here. The pork from the front is really tasty.

We have been going to the Four Seasons on Queensway regularly for many years. Last night, we found that all the staff who have been there for years were no longer there. But even worse, the attitude of the new staff put us off. At which point, my brother walked out and said that we would go to another restaurant.... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
