Addie's is my local Thai restaurant I eat-in and get takeaway a couple times a month. The curries and veggie stir fry are my favourite. They make a great "Thai iced tea" its yummy.

I asked my Thai friends which restaurant is the best Thai restaurant in London and they mentioned this place so I thought I'd check it out. FOOD The reason to go here is definitely the authenticity of the food and dishes. It was four of us and we had the following: Tom Yam soup (good), Tom Kha soup (good), Addie's... More

The food here is reasonably priced, and good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Place is noisy, and it's a place for fun and in and out - not a great venue for long, lingering chats, or a first date! But overall, really pleasant

Excellent food, and friendly service. Full of Thai people. Reasonably priced. Menu and initial impression of restaurant undersell it. Highly recommended.

I liked this place - I'd recently had some bad experiences with Thai food in London so was a bit leery of another Thai place. Service was friendly and efficient, with another diner turning up late but they seamlessly co-ordinated arrival of dishes. The food was good, and the prices were very affordable for the lunch market. I particularly enjoyed... More

We have been there with our distribution partner and the food is just ok but nothing special if you are used to go for thai food.

We liked Addie's Thai so much we ate there twice during our brief stay in London. The food is fantastic, and quick to come. If you avoid some of the higher priced item (salt and pepper crab) then it's quite affordable too. I recommend the "Masaman" curry and rice... rich beef curry with spice and coconut. Wonderful. Note, don't show... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
