Walked by on a Saturday afternoon with friends and was surprised by this wonderful place. Great ambience. Great quality of food. Great selection of beers! Very happy to find this gem.

We needed somewhere nice to watch the Aviva rugby semi-final and we found this place on-line. We walked from Crouch Hill overground station which didn't take long. The building is interesting, particularly from outside where it's dairy origins can be seen. Inside is light and airy and there are black and white photos on the walls depicting its history. There... Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Had the spring lamb which came with peas beans pancetta and purple potatoes! My mum had the roast beef which she said was delicious. Staff were friendly young and quirky. Mums tea was served in a half pint glass which she found amusing. Very tasty would recommend.

This pub is a bit of a walk from Finsbury Park tube (10 mins) but worth the trip. It's big and full of character, with a main 'pub' section and a more formal dining area too. They were screening the football in one section and had a pub quiz in another part. The food was really good- traditional dishes like... More

Good quality pub grub. Had amazing soup with truffle on top and fresh crusty bread just out of the oven. Followed this with a good quality burger. Yum!

Visited the old dairy for dinner on a Sunday night. Surprisingly they still did roasts for dinner which was nice. I got the beef roast which was really good. Their local pale ale was decent as well. It is quite a big space so generally one shouldn't have a problem getting a space. The dessert was really good and a... More

Don't get me wrong, this Gastropub still does good food it's just that it used to be exceptional value and since the refurbishment it is sadly not. I started with a soup which was a bit lacking in flavour - if chef thinks it needs black pepper ground on it says it all. The venison was tasty and recommended -... More

Thank you for your review. We constantly strive to give our customers the best possible experience we can when visiting the pub and the menu changes are our way of making our food offer interesting and innovative. The black sesame seeds sprinkled on the top of the soup are there to add a depth of flavour and compliment the truffle... More

Friday lunch felt peckish and although the pub has a restaurant, I ordered just a starter (chicken livers with chestnuts) that cost £6 and a pint. The starter was prettily presented at my table and full of flavour.

The Old Dairy is a cut above usual pub grub. The interior is beautiful with big tables designed for eating. The menu is excellent with good choices for all foodies - carnivores and veggies. However there was no childrens menu, though our 2 yr old loved the soup! Portions are not very big, despite the high prices and staff serving... More

Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry there was some confusion with the timings of your food service, unfortunately it happens occasionally when big groups order individually at the bar. However we will use your comments to make sure we continue to improve and give our customers the best experience possible. More
