Amazing value for money in London, and believe me, I know how difficult is finding this in this city, bearing in mind this is a Barcelona guy missing the price/quality/quantity of the local restaurants in my mother city. For 20/25 quid each you can get a fantastic dinner, both in terms of quality and quantity (they add bread and salad... More

Located close to Brick Lane. Our visit was on a Sunday evening so it was pretty quiet. Service was very prompt. Menu offered plenty of choice. Restaurant is licensed. Prices very reasonable and the food was lovely. Liver was my partners choice of main course and that was delicious.

Went there on a Friday evening. The place was busy but we managed to get a table without a reservation. Food was good, although I've had better Turkish food, but you must try the Lahmancun as a side dish. It was to amazing. Extra star just for that.

As I am crazy over turkish food it was so nice to find such a nice restaurant in the central London. The waitress was really nice and gave us some additional veggies as we asked. Also in the end they served cay and lokum. Very nice touch :)

Good service, good Turkish food - succulent lamb (maybe a tad overcooked - I have had more succulent meat elsewhere) and chicken, good-sized portions, mid-range pricing. Good for both friends/family and business without hitting the pocket too much.

The hostess smile and we were welcomed to the table. Then dirty menus were left on our clean plates. The lady opposite us got sick and could not finish her meal. My wife could complete do only half of it. The taste was not fresh, like the chicken got out of microwave and just was warmed up. I have ordered... More

I'm a big fan of Turkish cuisine but this place was just awful. Terrible food that made our stomachs hurt. I had chicken and it tasted rubbish. Not sure about hygiene either... we saw the waiter leaving my almost untouched plate (I really didn't like the meat) at the counter rather than bringing it straight downstairs like he did with... I was staying at the arbor City hotel next door and decided to eat here. The service was good and though they were busy I got a table immediately with no reservation. Food was very good and delivered very promptly. Very reasonably priced also. I would definitely visit again.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
