For being right next to several large London attractions, the service is excellent for how busy it is. It's not easy dealing with the amount of tourists and I commend the staff for their patience and skill. I'm a regular as I work nearby and when I do late shifts, this is the only place open at 8.30pm. However, last... More

Wouldn't normally have McDonalds but it was a quick treat for my Niece & Nephew. & very cheap for the Centre of London. We sat outside overlooking the London Eye & Big Ben. Lovely!

We frequently vist the south bank and sometimes we just cannot be bothered with a real restaurant so go for a quick burger at the Golden Arches. It is there when we need it and you know what you are getting.

Went 02/04/17 around 11:30 (after Shrek) - normally the queues are out of the door but today 2-3 mins to her served. Food is as it always is and not a gamble. Reason I review is to say the food is amazing value given the high cost of eating anywhere else nearby which is a minimum £5 a head. Kids... More

We went here before going to the aquarium next door as it was the only hot fast food place near. The place was so busy we nearly changed our mind but decided to suffer it. The experience was worth the short wait. I have been in quiet McDonalds before and have had to wait a lot longer. Getting served was... More

I know this McDonald's is a very busy one but I really think they need to get staff that are more up for working in a busy environment. And manners wouldn't go a miss either. Ordered quickly but when order came the burger was wrong and no drink. No apologies for anything. The seating area downstairs isn't big enough for... More

A busy McDonald's but we sat outside looking over the Thames and Big Ben. Busy with a long queue on a Saturday lunchtime. No bins for rubbish.

Due to the vast numbers of people entering the doors, queues are not always orderly, waiting times for food are too long. Seating inside and out is always limited. Your lucky if you can eat your food due to Seat Savers. People eat on the steps leading into the restaurant. Smokers congregate here, staff are indifferent and children enter with... More

No where to sit......but at least the service was quick and friendly. You can always depend on McDonald's to fill that gap.

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
