Lived here for years and never knew this gem was here! A bit of a time warp in a good way and the food looked a bit dated but tasted exceptionally good.

Arranged a delivery for 3 adults. 2 orders of pasta, a cheese garlic bread and a pizza. On delivery the pasta was acceptable however the pizza had been placed on its side and all of the pizza had slid in a single heap. Contact with...the business blamed it on the delivery personnel and there was no further interaction. I have been eating at this facility since 2014, however from this time forward that will cease. If you want good service and integrity don't patronize this business.More
I have been eating in this excellent little restaurant for years, the food is always freshly cooked and authentic. They serve the best pizzas I have ever tasted. Its also very reasonable price for this day and age.
I want to tell everybody about this hidden gem of a restaurant. I took my partner our son, and his daughter and her boyfriend to Catford.
Tucked away under a tower block you discover this amazing place. I can't believe I've lived nearby for years and never visited. The food was fantastic. I had the calamari to start and the calzone pizza for mains. The food and wine were both well...reasonably priced. The service was great and it felt just like a little slice of Italy. I will definitely be returning :)More
We have been going here for years. Family run business and the food is fantastic! We both work in central London and regularly go to fancy restaurants, but this place's food quality is exceptional for the price! from the outside it may look like a...basic pizzeria, but inside is fantastic simple Italian cooking at its best! Highly recommend! And the staff are always super friendlyMore
We booked this restaurant on recommendations from friends and visited on 30/10.On arrival we were greeted by the gentleman making the pizzas and it went downhill from there. The waitress ( one with short dark hair) had trouble finding our booking ,after looking I saw...it was clearly written in the book although there was bit of confusion over how many i had booked for (2).We were shown to a table at the back , there was no offer of a drink or menus delivered. We sat at the table for around 10 minutes. There were quite a few people at the tables but no one had seemed to have been served any food. There were a lot of raised voices from the kitchen area and appeared to be confusion with orders. Eventually the same waitress bought us the menus, once again there was no offer of a drink or any explanation of the specials boards on the wall and away she went. There was a second waitress working .After being in the restaurant around 15 minutes we decided to leave. More customers had arrived and it was clear the service wasnt going to improve .We were very disappointed by the intial experience after making a special journey to eat here. A very strange visitMore
This little gem is hidden under a tower block. As soon as you open the door, you are in Italy. The decor is clever and refreshing. Wall paintings of Italian scenes are great. The menu is amazing and delicious. We live in Brighton and our...daughter moved to Catford just before lockdown. We visited the restaurant for meal that night. Yesterday, we moved her to Dulwich, and again went to eat after the move. Harriet, our daughter has said she will make an effort to visit again.More
We got recommended to go here by a friend. The signage doesn’t do it justice but once you are inside it takes you on a voyage to Italy. We shared garlic bread with cheese and had a pasta each and it was truly incredible! To...die for flavours, an abundance of Parmesan and super friendly staff. Planning on coming back as soon as possible and sad we didn’t come sooner! Also it’s very affordable and a nice change to have an authentic restaurant rather than a wanky gastro pub, which are way too prevalent in south east london.More
Had a lovely takeaway pizza during the Covid 19 period. Staff were polite and friendly despite being busy. Social distancing was strictly adhered to which was appreciated. Will use again. Nice local restaurant that deserves the business !!
Thank you for your invaluable support
We decided very last minute to eat out and had not been here in ages. Turned up on a Friday night and said we had not booked, a lot of the tables had reserved on. We were given a lovely table. The food was amazing,...garlic bread to start followed by Risotto and linguine alle vongole, two desserts and a glass of wine, came to £40 including tip. Services was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend, as a friend once said, best pizza this side of Italy.More
This has to be experienced to understand the truest awesome quality of of the Italian food on offer here. Completely hidden from view at ground level behind a con let’s staircase of the brutalist Eros House in Catford sits the finest pizzeria I’ve ever visited...and I’ve visited many around the country, Italy and America. The unassuming family friendly service and environment is lovely but the food is true my unsurpassed. Today I had pizza rustica. High recommendedMore
Tucked away in an unassuming corner of Catford, this little gem offers great pizzas and inspired meat and fish dishes.
Food amazing - 5 star, Rogu👍😍, Pizza-base its top class😍 Service- 4 star unless you been served by the owner then 5 star
This place is exactly why you should never judge a book by its cover. From the outside it is unavoidably grim, but once you walk inside it's just lovely from start to finish. Very friendly staff, quick and attentive service, relaxing atmosphere and genuinely delicious...food. My Mrs loved the wine so much she wanted to buy a bottle to take home and the owner fell over backwards to give us what he thought was a fair discount, which we had never asked for. Really sweet guy. We will be returning regularly for sure, thank you for a great dinner.More
