Went to get some food before a local friends house party. Was fairly quiet but was an early Sat evening. Have an extensive cocktail menu but we stuck to beer and cider, most of which were local. Ordered the nachos chips and a salsa and...white bean/miso dip. The chips were nice, either home made or good quality restaurant chips. The salsa and white bean dip could have had more flavour/spicing. I ordered the sprouting broccoli and beef short rib tacos. They were both amazing. The broccoli was charred and smokey but still had good bite. The beef was treat /tender. I could have eaten a little more so we ordered the "no MSG" fries, perfectly hot and crispy discs of fried potato, fluffy on the inside with a little kampot mayo. Great meal and relaxed service. The aim inspired taco menu works well.More

It's real sad to hear "RACISM " from this place...what's going on there..wasn't like this before..#VictoryMansion has to stop this people in them place...I will never go back this place is if management don't do anything..

We stumbled across this place when walking around Stoke Newington. What an amazing find! Great selection of tacos, cocktails and sides (all reasonably priced). Most of the menu is gluten free too. Staff were very knowledgable about food allergies.

Was looking for somewhere to have drinks before dinner and found this. What a find, great cocktails, cool interior and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back for more.

Tried Victory Mansions / Ta-Ko this evening and the food was absolutely delicious Only disappointment was that as there were only 2 of us eating we couldn’t try every dish on the menu Unique flavour combinations that really worked And the special ‘fries’ were to...die for 😋 10/10 for food quality, service and ambiance Good wine selection too and they do cocktails but we didn’t try them (this time!) Definitely going back AND if you order before 7pm you get 2 ta-ko’s for the price of 1More

Lovely bar with excellent food and cocktails. You can hire the downstairs area for private parties. Efficient staff members.

Has the best coffee around the area, tacos are tiny, atmosphere is nice. Attentive staff surely have very nice cocktails as people fill the bar up quickly. Will do taste some amazing cocktails surely on the next visit. Best to get there just before big...crowds arrive at certain evenings.More

I had such a great night with the team at Victory Mansion celebrating my 30th birthday party! The basement is decorated beautifully (the disco ball being a huge hit among my friends), the staff were so polite and helpful from the beginning of my booking...to on the actual evening. The drinks selection is great with lots people commenting on the cocktails and beers in particular, sadly I didn't taste the tacos this time but I guess its a good excuse to come back! Have been to Victory Mansions so many times I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to review. In short it’s amazing. Perfect for first dates, groups, solo, couple... you name it Setting; Mid century modern vibe, palms, dark wood, great music, brilliant attention...to detail Drinks; with such a wealth of experience behind this bar it’s no surprise the menu is brilliant. Tonight I had to Syrah and it was like someone lovingly polished an oak room and then delicately rinsed the chamois in it... incredible. Let’s get to the food... enter Ta- Ko... Asian inspired tacos. We had just eaten but could not resist... went for the crispy cauliflower and it was INSANELY good. Need to come back and have a bottle of Syrah and everything on the food menu.More

What a combination of asain food and tacos, excellent flavours and presentation. Cocktails were brilliant and a fresh take on the classics. (Not sure about the cherries in my old fashioned) service a tad slow but understandable with only 2 staff.
