We were a rather large group going here one evening, hence the place was fairly full on a week night, which seems to have surprised them a bit. The waiters did their very best to serve drinks as fast as they could, but the food...More

Wandering around in Kensington we stumbled upon this Pub and were really happy as we were cold and hungry. The food and drinks were excellent and served hot and cold respectively which can be unusual to find in a busy pub. The decor is comfy...More

This is a decent pub with a pleasant ambience which serves nicely-kept Young's ale.But whatever you do don't order the Jerusalem artichoke main course. It was the tiniest portion of food I've ever had,a lot smaller than the Camembert starter & not particularly cheap at £11.We...More

Good pint of Youngs Bitter, though this pub is no longer in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, smaller choice of beers , good but pricey food, warm welcome. Very good large sausage rolls on the bar counter !

This pub has definitely had a makeover. Booked a table for 6, and got a fabulous spot outside in their garden patio. Food was fantastic (Sunday lunch with all the trimmings) and really great service. Will go back and suggest folks head there too

I love this pub. I hate the service! I come here often as it's a really gorgeous pub but I must say that the service I encountered today was appalling. Your lady serving today (blonde, middle aged and Eastern European) is not fit for any...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
