First time experience having a bottomless brunch , me and my partner upgraded our brunch for an extra £5 giving us the option to have a choice of 6 cocktails with still the choice of beer and prosecco. You have a choice of a starter and main alongside the bottomless drinks with your 90min slot, we booked our brunch at the London - Royal Festival Hall and we was served by Marc who was was very welcoming and very assertive. He made sure we had drinks on our tables and even to something small like ordering curly chips and getting sweet potatoes instead, he went back to the kitchen and made sure my partner got his portion of curly chips he took this upon himself from self observation without us mentioning it. Apart from that he was bubbly and very welcoming making our experience relaxed and fun.

I was served by an amazing and cheerful rep of this branch. Linka made me feel welcome and comfortable. The food, amazing as always: I had the three appetiser offer nachos, mango and cheese empanadas (yummy) and the mushroom quesedilla (but more greasy than usual this time). The sauce with the quesedilla is so refreshing. I've reduced a star, they'd run out of cauliflower and there were no suitable alternatives. I will go back: there's an amazing choice on the menu which can transport you to almost anywhere in South America, and the staff team are always upbeat.

I called up around 5pm and spoke with a lady called Estella (I think that was her name) I asked her if I could come with a friend in about 15 minutes as we just left the London eye and fancied Las iguana. She was so friendly and happy on the phone, she told me that it wouldn’t be any issue at all and can’t wait to welcome us when we arrive. She even told us to take our time and she will get us a nice table wherever we like, just to come in and speak with her at the door. This made me even happier and felt very special as we have not had our las iguana fix for 7 month. When we arrived she was just as cheerful and happy and even recognized me by my voice!!!!! 10/10 service and hospitality - food and service was great as usual. Thank you so much Las iguana and Estella for making me and my friend special and you open the Las iguana door for us Latin way full of happiness and life See you soon, Sasha

We are given a table outside in the cold because we didn't book in advance, despite there was numbers of empty tables inside. Toilets were blocked and dirty. More than half of the dishes on their children menu sold out, that we weren't informed at the reservation desk. Service from the beginning to the end was awful. We was shown to our table without any menu or words. The management team walked around with their face stuck up their backside. They didn't smile nor gave way to us when we walked passed (come on where is your basic hospitality skills!). We had to get someone attention to take our order, food arrived cold & tasted mediocre; chicken was dry like cardboard, fish fingers was smelly. When I asked for the billed (had to asked twice!), service charge was added on automatically, even though their receipt stated service was optional! There is so much people can blame on Covid. Service, food, conditions & charges like what we received won't deserve our custom again ever!

Terrible quality food served here. I ordered the prawn and peanut Maracana and the bread bowl was not crusty, instead it was limp and soggy. The prawn curry was tasteless. The side of kale was unseasoned and random. My friend's sandwich was bland with average fries. The cocktails barely had any alcohol in them. Extortionate prices for the type of food served

Attended with my family including two children. Service was ridiculously slow, got my youngest daughters order wrong, initially insisted that they were right until they eventually checked the waitresses tablet and established the error was theirs. It then took 40 minutes after the rest of us had got our food before my daughter got her order, which she ended up eating on her own. The restaurant then charged us additionally for the wrong meal that we neither ordered, nor ate.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was raining heavily and a group of three of us wanted a place to have dinner. Firstly, the person on the door said there was no space for us to sit down until someone else came and gave us a table in the empty restaurant. The service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was unfriendly, disengaged and outright rude. She slammed down our drinks on the table when they arrived, avoided eye contact when we were ordering, and asked us if we wanted to have dessert but left before she heard an answer. The food was mediocre and overpriced, and mine was cold when it arrived. The rain was heavy and the outdoor seating did not shield us from the rain completely. I held my bag on my lap the entire time because it would’ve been ruined if it touched the soaked floor. I was showing my friend around London for the first time and was genuinely embarrassed that we had eaten at this restaurant. Also, our waitress had shouted ‘declined’ in my friend’s face when her card did not work the first time, which was not her fault, and she was shaken up for a while afterwards. And after all that, they added 12.5% service charge to our bill!!! Outrageous!!! There are many other restaurants around in this area that are lovely, and my advice would be to avoid this restaurant at all costs. I will definitely not be returning here.

There was no waiting time for a table yet the restaurant was busy but with a calm atmosphere at the same time. There are a large number of tables both inside and out. It was Happy Hour so we had 2 lovely mock tails at less than £5 each at 2 for 1 pricing. The calamares was well cooked and the XimXin was outstanding, highly recommended. Staff were very friendly and worked extremely hard, they said they had staff shortages yet service was still well paced with no long waits. This was a great evening at the branch near the Royal Festival Hall on the Southbank, perfect for a, stroll along the Thames and into Covent Garden afterwards.

Me and my boyfriend went to Las Iguanas for the first time yesterday. And we could not have had a better experience our waitress Milda was very attentive, she gave us great recommendations even with my diet requirements she knew exactly what I could have and made us feel very comfortable. Food was delicious and we had the best time.

Use to love this place and decided to make it our first post pandemic restaurant visit. Booked on line and specified outdoor table since I was eating with someone who is vulnerable/shielding to COVID-19 and did not want to eat in crowded indoors. Turned up and were told they could not serve food outdoors because of light rain even though they had tables with umbrellas. Also noticed weiting staff were not wearing masks. Sad to drop this restaurant but very disappointing and dangerous service. Other restaurants nearby were more accomodating, welcoming and wearing masks

The restaurant always looks busy when passing so thought would try it . I found the food disappointing ordered wings for starters they were ok some family members had different starters none really stood out everything seemed pretty average. I had jerk ribs for my main which was a bad choice they were very dry luke warm & arrived with cold chips other family members had curry which was nice but a big curry with little rice portion definitely needs more rice the burritos were also pretty average & not hot the food reminds me of overpriced pub grub that’s prepared & heated up nothing tasted fresh & when asked to change or remove certain ingredients was told it wasn’t possible. Looking around I noticed a lot of uneaten food or diners just ordering cocktails so seems dinners prefer the 2-4-1 cocktails rather than the food. I Would not rush back or recommend food definitely needs improvement would be nicer if actually arrived hot for a start

On the drinks menu it states 2 for 1 cocktails all day all night everyday, so I booked for 7. Was informed that it finished at 7 pm, very annoying and misleading, need to make it more clear!!! I have given three stars because of the ladies toilets, three out of the four were flooded with water up to the toilet seat, smelt disgusting, was extremely hot which didn't make the smell! Our waitress was lovely and attentive, she was by herself in her section and worked hard, I didn't manage to get her name but she had brightly coloured hair. The gluten free options were good, and the food was nice. At the end, my bill came to £96 (for two people), including a £10 added by the restaurant that I didn't know about. I personally think it is so rude to add a tip, even more rude that the added tip was more than 10% of the bill!! I always give a tip for good service, but hate the automatic added tip culture some restaurants have. Overall, good evening but wouldnt go again.

We've popped in for lunch on a relatively relaxed weekend - there was only one waitress assigned to our area, which resulted in service being terribly slow. A number of most popular options from the menu were not available (apparently the deliveries were impacted by drivers shortages). In addition to all of this, the soft drinks which we've ordered were not the best. This is a pity as both the restaurant and the menu were looking very promising.

Easy to find at Southbank this restaurant is incredibly atmospheric and at first I felt a little out of my comfort zone (I'm a simple soul really who likes the quiet life). However, fortunately I was placed in a quiet area where I could still appreciate the decor and the ambience of the place. The staff had clearly excellent levels of customer service - following an incident with a drink that was served up. But rather than challenge they accepted the error and I, in turn, accepted that it was just one of those things being so close to the waterfront. I wasn't kept too long before they took my order qnd the food arrived fairly quickly (I had the xinxim) and, I might add, was delicious. I could have done with more plantain but other than that can't complain. With the atmosphere, the speed of delivery, the customer service and how good the food is this really is a place to visit whenever you get the chance.

The best venue in the chain in my opinion, as the staff all do as much as possible to ensure you have a good experience. The food was all delicious and their happy hour on cocktails and tapas are very good value for money. We will definitely be back, especially thanks to Marius for creating a wonderful atmosphere from start to finish, what a superstar!

Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
