I booked this CF restaurant for an early dinner as I had a train to catch & knew that their service was usually fast. I also had 2 vouchers to use up - one for a bottle of fizz as a birthday present from them, the other a discount voucher for food, but I was only allowed to use one.... More

They sat our group of 7 with no fuss, even though they were very busy. Great kids menu, and menu for grown up's too. Service was a little slow at times due to how busy they were but that didn't bother us as we were not in a hurry. Overall, goof d food and service

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We arrived without pre booking to treat our son and girlfriend to dinner after son completed the marathon. Seven of us dined and only had time for main course before getting coach back to Cardiff. Service was excellent, rounding off a fantastic day perfectly.

We went for what we hoped would be a pleasurable pre-Theatre lunch. It was shockingly bad for my wife and I and our adult son. We had snails as a starter and they were over-cooked and rubbery. My wife and son chose Tarte Flambe as a main course. It was served not properly cooked and luke warm. They both described... More

Managed to grab a table here for a light meal before the theatre and was very impressed by the ambience, food and service. I thought it was all very reasonably priced - we had the set menu which was just right for a quick bite. The wine was very acceptable and not horrendously expensive. The waitress was very efficient and... More

This review is specific to the Café Rouge in Wellington Street Covent Garden and is based on my visit there on Tuesday 11th April in the late afternoon at about 5:15pm for an early pre theatre dinner. I have had pre-theatre meals there at least three times in the past years. They were reliable and reasonable value for central London.... More
