Helen and I are here on Sunday night having identified it as a dog friendly place. We sat downstairs in a cosy and intimate candlelit environment. Floyd looked after us really well with detailed explanations of both the menu and the wine list. Helen thoroughly enjoyed the calves liver and her dessert of bread pudding, for myself I felt that... When we arrived, my husband and I exchanged glances that said 'oh dear, have we come to the right place?'. It looked a bit tired but the handwritten menu was dated that day which filled us with intrigue. When the food arrived , portions were substantial, ingredients were fresh and it was delicious. We had 3 courses and were very... More

Always a new menu, hand written with fresh items daily. Tiny, obscure spot, solid wine list! Look closely for the front door, lots of activity around the area.

Anyone expecting - or God-forbid - demanding perfection in a 'I am the client and the client always knows best' kind of way, should stay well away. This place is as informal and informative as they come. It has effortless charm. And they have a very strong following from a loyal crowd. The service is friendly to the point of... More

Andrew Edmunds has everything I could want from a restaurant. Great character, good staff, lovely food and a fantastic wine list. It's one of the few places in London that I return too and get excited each time I do!

Two of us had a delicious lunch here on the day we struggled with jet lag after just arriving from the U.S. We enjoyed a Lovely soup and a crisp white wine with some exceptional asparagus on the side. This tiny, unassuming bistro was packed, and the wait staff was caring and friendly. A memorable meal, quaint and fresh.

Andrew Edmunds is a must go restaurant. What a great last meal we had when we were in London. The appetizers, entres and desserts we ordered were made to perfection. What made the experience complete was the exceptional service by Andrew, who shared the same first name as the owner. He was joking with us and ensure everything was perfect.... More

A restaurant with a very nice atmosphere in the heart of Soho. Lots of interesting dishes to choose from and some very nice wine on offer.

Visited Andrew Edmunds after a few months absence. It is still ace. Great food and a wine list to die for. The staff were smashing and allowed us to dawdle over our post dinner drinks. Loved it.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
