About
Founded in 2015 by two Spanish sisters inspired by the love and passion of their Neapoletan Great-grandfather who opened his own pizzeria in Argentina in the 1920s. This menu is a fusion of our heritage and knowledge of Spanish and Italian cuisines. You will find the perfect combination between traditional pastas, tapas & Neapoletan pizzas cooked fresh in a wood fired oven together with a number of specials to take you in a culinary tour of our beloved Spain & Italy.

I'd been recommended Volare by two independent local friends over recent months, and finally today, via Uber Eats, my family sampled their menu, and frankly wished we'd found them many moons ago. We tried three tapas dishes - Pimientos de Padron, Mushroom Coquettes and Calamares - two pizzas, Primavera with Serano ham, and Napoletana, and two pasta dishes, linguini mare e monte, and spaghetti polpette. EVERY dish was excellent - I particularly enjoyed the peppers, coquettes, and the two pizzas (the pizza base is gorgeous). Fresh bread (homemade?) delightful, and the freebie of a tiramisu taster, divine. Overall, awesome!

This is a delightful truly Italian restaurant. The vegan pizza was out of this world in terms of flavour. The Sea Food Pasta was indescribably good- last time I had one of this quality was in Venice 10 years ago. Last but not least was excellent and attentive service. While we were looking at the menu outside the waitress noticed we had a person in our party in a wheel chair. She brought her a menu to consider. They get my Gold Star of Excellence

Everyone at Volare was very friendly and welcoming. The menu was great and the staff were very happy to make any changes to toppings without a fuss. The pizza was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best Neopolitan pizzas I've ever had. They even put a birthday banner up and brought out a slice of tiramisu for my mum's birthday. Very, very thoughtful!

We were staying locally for a funeral and decided to walk along Bowes Road. It's not the nicest of roads but we're glad we persevered. We were warmly greeted and were treated very well throughout. Other visitors were having pizza (which looked delicious) but we decided on tapas. We had olives, meatballs, bruschetta, salad, aubergine , chorizos and croquettes. It was freshly prepared and delicious.

This family run Spanish /Italian fusion is absolutely delightful, from the delicious dishes, to the warm and hospitable customer service, to the beautiful design and interior and their attention to every last detail. Once you visit here, you will become a regular, welcomed into the Volare family, and never look back. They have created a community in the local area which was desperately lacing a wonderful eaterie to chill out in, go and enjoy!

We visited tonight for dinner.
It was fantastic.
Bruschetta was fresh and flavoursome
Croquettes were authentic.
Pizza was DELICIOUS.
Every member of staff is friendly, warm and welcoming.
Thank you for a great meal, we’ll be returning.

I first visited Volare back in 2018 and loved how accommodating and friendly it was. I’ve since made it a must visit when I’m in the area. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere welcoming (even for a solo dinner, they know I love my window seat) This place has heart & I can’t recommend it enough. Wonderful staff & delicious food. I’m made to feel like a regular even though I don’t live here all the time

This is some of the very best pizza you can get in London, and without any fuss - don't let the Spanish background of the co-owners fool you!
However, the place also serves a range of reasonably good tapas and a few decent pasta dishes if you fancy something else.
Even though the place can get busy, its team always manages to maintain a relaxed atmosphere yet with a consistently efficient and pleasant service.

Been there several times and I can confirm this is one of the pizzas you can have in London.
The place is lovely, few minutes walking from Bounds Green station.
The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the staff really gentle.
I had different pizzas but my favourite one is the infierno.
Made with tomato sauce, mozzarella, 'nduja (spicy sausage) and spicy salami.
It is so tasty and spicy, not too much, perfectly balanced.
This restaurant is strongly recommended!

My Father’s partner is based in Bounds Green and they have been visiting here for years. I have been a couple of times and we’ve ordered takeaway with them also. The service and staff are incredible, the nicest and hard working people. The pizza is literally some of the best I have ever had outside Italy. All the ingredients are fresh and of a very high quality. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this place for a delicious meal with great service.

Friends have always raved about this place and for some reason this is the first time we have tried it!
We have been missing out!
This place is AMAZING! Seriously good pizza, big with generous toppings and great value. 4 big pizzas for £37. Staff were lovely and gave us some free olives and nice chilli and garlic oils.
We are definitely new regulars from now on

I cannot believe it: I've jogged by this nondescript bistro many times without giving it a second thought. Most probably as it's just on the North Circular, not exactly Fitzrovia, if you catch my drift.
This place is amazing! Delicious tapas -- try the croquetas. The melanzane parmigiana and pizza were fantastic. Crust: perfetto!
Do not let the location fool you. These people can cook, and they serve you with effortless charm. Highly recommended!

After a very long period of not being possible to go, we finally went back to Volare for a pizza. (we had some take aways in the meantime.)
Welcome was even more hearty and warm as usual, the atmosphere was fine and the pizzas were as good as usual.
Also my favorite spaghetti carbonara tasted superb!
We'll be back!

Table for 6 at 9:10pm we thought we would never get in but they squeezed us in . Much to our delight the place was jumping and what a great atmosphere everyone having a great dining experience. Well that’s what we got also , we all had starters and mains and we all finished every bit off the plate . Great food service and atmosphere well worth a visit.

We live across the road and have never been because it doesn’t look great from the outside. Big mistake!
Visited today. Probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. Great, friendly service - nothing too much trouble, even for fussy eaters like us. And it’s big and spotless. Easy 5 stars.
