Excellent restaurant, delicious food, and courteous and fast service The only thing that bothered, was that they raised chairs on the tables at the end of the day before people finished eating

We enjoyed a very nice meat dinner here. The service was good if a bit rushed. The food was tasty and good quality
We were seated next to a family of 4 - the father was coughing eer 5-15 seconds and was sweating and dabbing himself dry. The immediate fear was Corona, but in truth, even if it was not the corona virus, any illness causing someone to...regularly cough and sweat would not be nice to catch. We were embarrassed and didn't want to cause a fuss, but having tolerated it for over 15 minutes, we could not sit there any longer. We ordered the Humus and falafel and the meat cigars to start and didn't even eat half of it before having to politely and quietly inform a waiter and manager that we just needed to leave asap. We felt so uncomfortable that we had no other option than to immediately leave the restaurant. We offered to pay for the starter and drink we barely touched and the manager, in his great wisdom, decided it would be a good idea to fully charge us - £21.90 for a few bites of food. I was very disappointed the manager didn't have the compassion to see our evening had been ruined and offer to take care of the bill and comp the bites we had consumed. Too worried about the owners profits to care about the customer. Whilst we do not blame the restaurant for the situation we found ourselves in, we won't ever be coming back as a result of the way the manager handled the situation. Very disappointing and shame on the ill man that clearly has no respect for anyone else, disgusting.More
Ordered hummus and pitta. Expected a lot from a place called Hummus Bar, but the hummus was a disgrace. It was served in a box freezing cold which means it clearly sat in a fridge (at least) all day. Eating hummus at that temperature gave...me the shivers as it was clearly not fresh. The pittas were stale and also very generic. No respect for the food they are serving. Avoid.More
Not sure whats happened to Hummus Bar. Potentially the worst meal i’ve had in years, coupled with disgusting customer service. We both ordered the pargiot, and when we cut into the chicken thighs, both portions were completely raw. There was no apology, and they took...it back and cooked it some more, than re-served it. When bringing the food back the waiter knocked my beer all over me, and again not a single apology. Owner is highly rude and unfriendly, and didn’t really seem to care that they had served us raw chicken, or that i was soaked in beer. Do not eat here.More
250g hamburger with delicious smoked beef on it. Just amazing. Great chips as well. Not elegant location but cool for a dinner with friends
We paid over 10 pounds for a tiny plate filled with waaay too much hummus (extremely liquid as well) and 4 falafels. There was no salad or anything green to make it feel like a complete meal. Just tons of mediocre hummus, 4 falafels and...bread. Me, my friend and my girlfriend were all sick after the meal, I do not recommend it!More
Thank you very much for your feedback. We want to look into this further are you able to provide a phone number on direct message through Facebook or Instagram so our manager can contact you directly. Thank you, Hummus Bar management
Delicious hummus, falafel, bao and good meat. A little bit far away from central London but for those who like this kind of cuisine it is a place to try. Never tried such a good hummus and also the pistachio dessert is very good
Food is quite to arrive, however the smell of frying/onions is ALOT to deal with. Service is very good and quick.
I used to think this place is good but I went there on Sunday 9th Feb and the waitress told me that everything is cooked in the same oil that they fry the schnitzels in - including what they claim to be VEGAN or VEGETARIAN....The waitress then thought it's OK to say that the vegan dishes are still vegan because they don't contain any meat. This is equal to saying the burgers are Kosher but cooked in pork... I think it's just unacceptable to put any Vegan or Vegetarian symbols next to dishes that aren't considered Vegan or Vegetarian. I left the restaurant and paid just for drinks, not going again until they either sort the cooking method or the menu.More
