Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm a regular visitor to Norwich, I love micro pubs because most sell bag in box cider as it lasts much longer than cask ale. M&M is comfy and cute but I was disappointed that all three ciders were Lilley's. Usually diluted and sweetened to...within an inch of its life, it might go down a treat at a teenagers party, but it's not for most seasoned cider drinkers. Norfolk has some great cideries; Downham, East Norfolk, Norfolk Cider Co, Norfolk Raider, Village Green, Whin Hill. No need to sell Somerset sugar water.More

We went along to the Duration Brewery presentation evening last July so apologies for the late inclusion of this review. The pub was serving an excellent range of beers along with the samples brought along by the brewery owner. The pub is a special place...that generates a great atmosphere mainly because of the intimate size of the bar. It was full of real enthusiasts so the evening was a real treat. It seems obvious that the owners of the pub care about what they are doing and have gone all out to provide a terrific experience for beer drinkers. The Duration beers themselves were amazing..so much better than I expected being a more traditionalist as far as beer is concerned. I hope the owners have as much success with their new venture in Aylsham!More

As a guy who loves the Northern Quarter of Manchester, Magdalen Street, in Norwich has a similar vibe. And after enjoying the shops at the end of the street is this tiny pub with just great ale, and a very chilled atmosphere. I came for...the retro cool of the shops, and got a smashing pint of ale. Have been here a few times now. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and they have a great selection of beers and snacks. It's a place to sit and have a chat (mardle) and play a board game, of which there are many. Lovely...decor too.More

Small and perfectly formed, this micro pub is delightful, serving an interesting range of beers and ciders to cater for a range of tastes. Great atmosphere with lots of potential favourite spots to enjoy your beer - we just missed out 9n one cosy cubby....Unfortunately other plans meant we couldn't stay longer to drink down the menu over a game. Much more interesting and accessible than some of the supposedly trendy spots popping up in the city. Loved it!More
