This restaurant has issues especially the guy behind the reception. Got a chip on his shoulder. Food is overrated and restaurant is like a shoe box. Terrible experience and maybe you should look after your guests than worrying about your looks!! Shocking and won’t be...More
Have heard about this resturant so thought we would give it a try ,first impression is of a great looking building and impressive welcome, very nice decor , seating is a bit tight but once settled in good , the food menu is not as large...More
Quite simply one of the best curry houses in England (I go to a lot). Our party of 4 all enjoyed the meal, my Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi was top notch. Looking forward to our next UK trip already. Highly recommended.
A real fusion of the Indian subcontinent tastes and styles seved here. Potions are on the large side and the only disappoint in our eyes is the lack of takeawy from here; it's a bums on seats only resturant.

The food is up there with the very best Indian restaurants anywhere, dishes are nicely spiced without being so...More
Would not recommend for vegan/vegetarian.

The Chicken Rezala I had there was absolutely delicious. Very fiery, plenty of Chillies, the sauce was full of flavour. The chicken was very tender.
The service was very friendly and attentive. Despite being very busy, and a large table of us.
Will definitely return.

A group of us decided to try the Merchants of Spice as part of a night out in the City. We phoned the restaurant to see if they had a table for 5 of us as reviews had indicated they can be fully booked.
