I took my 6 year old daughter in after the Norwich game. On reflection it's not really a place to take kids but we had a perfectly nice time. The pub was busy and a red haired bar lady was doing an amazing job at...More

I have visited when they have live bands on and its a great atmosphere and a lively little venue. Unfortunately during the day time it seems to attract undesirables at the bar, I admire the bar staff for putting up with vulgarities.

Fantastic place to meet friends and have a drink or too. It is what it is, a great place. You can keep your chain pubs this is what the pub trade is about. Good beer, good music and good staff

It’s hard to rate this place, I personally like it because I like places where you get decent music and decent beer. However If you’re after a shiny, clean, friendly experience this won’t be for you. My rating depends on what you’re expecting from it,...More

This is one of my personal favourites - smallish pub but with a big personality, staff are friendly - great music as well as a great restaurant - if you are in Norwich be sure to look it up.

Dived into this bar after seeing it listed as a decent bar in Norwich. Been to a few bars in the city where you are met at the door by a waitress and shown the beer menu, and for some reason from the outside I...More

Was in Norwich for a live music concert and was looking for somewhere for a quick bite to eat. Stumbled on this back-street gem where we had good basic home cooking in the shape of sausages (x3), beans and chips... marvellous it was too!

Always a highlight of our annual Norwich shopping weekend. Went last Friday & Saturday too see the bands. This pub is like the rough n ready pubs we used to have in Peterborough 15-20 years ago. Loud music, people crammed in, condensation running down the...More
