I've been in the pub a number of times over the years and it's always busy. I have never been in when it isn't (I only go there once every 6 months when forced to go shopping). There's a great atmosphere if you wish to watch a match in the TV room bit, but get there early to get a... More

Visited here twice in a weekend. Staff are friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.Good choice of beers and ale. Food is amazing, highly recommend, breakfasts are a must. Amazing pub with lots of history, we will definitely be back.

ON a stag party weekend in Norwich we started with a breakfast gathering at the Murderers. The hostess was warm and friendly, and great fun. Taking all names with orders, requesting telephone numbers too, the food then rived piping hot and good to go, except without links to names taken! This only added to the fun. Wonderful venue, great service,... More

Great sports bar with a huge selection of beers/lagers, lots of tv's to watch all the sports. Interesting and unique building. The food was very average, but again a large selection.

Went for lunch on a quiet Monday in January. We ordered two simple and quick meals, and specifically asked for the chips to be well done. When they came they were barely cooked, and they gave an excuse that as it was new oil if left in longer they would go greasy. The fact was that they were very greasy,... More

Based in Timber Hill in a good central location in Norwich. Serves a good variety of well priced beers and drinks. Also does live music. Well worth a visit.

I went to the pub to watch the rugby bronze final but the atmosphere was destroyed by them having booked a band to clash meaning the sound was off, it was so poor that I abandoned by drink and came home - very very disappointed. Prior to their music experiment this was the best pub in the city for sport,... More

We popped in as it looked intriguing from the outside, it is a rambling place loads of nooks and crannies to sit in, I expect in the evenings it is very atmospheric, posters of old 50 and 60s pop groups and festivals, lots of pictures of famous murderers eg Ruth Ellis. We did find it a bit cold but I'm... More

This pub is only a little walk from the centre of the city, its lovely and cosy with a good atmosphere and really friendly staff, they have a fine ale selection and there is plenty of seating, the meals are really good with plenty of choice and a very reasonable price, we will revisit next time we are in Norwich.

Four of us came here for a couple of drinks. The women had white wine, but the men enjoyed the different types of beer on offer. They tried two different brands, both of which were good. It was 5pm and the food was no longer on offer. It was busy and some of the tables were quite grubby.
