As far as pub food goes I thought this place was a little above your average pub grub. My wife had the fish stew from the specials board, I decided on the Thai fish cakes. Both were excellent. Could not resist a bottle of house red for £10 not expecting much at the price but the wine was of a... More

The Murderers was recommended to us by the lovely booksellers in Waterstones, and they didn't let me down! This is a proper, family run pub, with real beer, on hand pumps, (cask), friendly staff, and absolutely delicious home made burgers! Highly recommended :) ...We will be going back, oh yes... I wouldn't choose to eat here, but if it's typical pub grub you're after then this is a cool place to go. I love the pub itself and have drunk here many times. But food is a no from me...

Spent the day in Norwich and popped in for lunch. We'd been in before and liked it but not eaten. Ordered the "homemade" pie and chips which at £8.65 we expected would be reasonable - what a mistake. This is a stew in a microwave dish with a huge crust on top. When you lift the crust off, which resembled... More

Loved the selection of beers at the pub. They provided us with great service and a nice if slightly awkward shaped (a bit long and thin with separate alcoves - meant people split onto groups - but nice as a pub) area for a private party.

Went to the murderers to see if they were showing the state of origin two game, a great effort put in by the staff to get the game on the screen. All staff very friendly as were the other clientele. Good range of beers and the food was very tasty and good value for money. Would recommend the murderers to... More
