Dry goods are dispensed from hoppers into customer’s own containers to reduce packaging and the use of plastic. Our licensed cafe produces wonderful sourdough pizzas on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. We often sell out due to demand so booking ensures your pizza!

We found this cafe by chance and dropped in for coffee: liked it so much, we went back for lunch, which was delicious. We would recommend the toasted sandwiches, in particular. The shop attached to it sells marvellous bread, loads of herbs, spices and unusual ingredients, and has a good range of refill-type items, such as dried fruits, oatmeal, nuts, etc.

We came to Norfolk to visit family & my wife picked this place because it has great reviews. We drove almost three hours in the pouring rain, hoping we would be rewarded by the all day breakfast. We needn’t have worried. The Anglian is a feast for the road weary as well as being great value for money (compared to the south anyway)
Will definitely come back.

I’ve used this cafe to grab a coffee, they do that really well. But I saw a breakfast bought out for a diner , it looked so nice , I ordered one too.
Wow , possibly one of the best I’ve had . Top quality components cooked perfectly . I asked the girl how they make their baked beans so nice ? They make themselves from dried beans available in the store ! Clearly the bubble and squeak was homemade too. This place is certainly worth coming across town for , there is loads of parking in the shopping complex and on the road and it’s not as busy as the city centre

Getting coffee for 2 on valentine's day we went to our favourite local at the green grocer's. It was due to close at 4pm, we got there at 10 minutes to 4, but were rudely battered away because they hypocritical and simply awful customer service.

Long overdue review. I first experienced The Green Grocer’s in September 2018, and I’ve been meaning to say how good it is ever since. Great place for a healthy breakfast, satisfying lunch, afternoon tea, or just a coffee. I had the “Norfolk Vegan” breakfast which was tasty and filling. Plenty of choice on the menu. The pizzas (available on certain evenings) are delicious as well, some are super experimental. Lovely staff, there’s a very strong sense of community here. The shop sells all sorts, you could get everything you might ever need from here, from organic vegan shampoo to quirky local beers.

The green grocers is an excellent brunch cafe and local produce shop, but they also serve fresh homemade pizzas on Thursday-Saturday evenings, and they are exceptional.
The dough is made fresh daily, that gives every pizza a light base and fluffy crust. The ingredients are high quality and the menu simple but well executed. The menu also offers a wide range of add-ons giving a great deal of flexibility with your pizzas, at a reasonable price. Slightly out of the city centre but easily walkable.
There are only few places in Norwich offering this style and quality of pizza however the green grocers is by far the best!
10/10 every time!

I eat at the Green Grocers quite often and the food is generally pretty good. However, I popped in for brunch and ordered a sausage ciabatta roll. The roll was fine but it only contained 3 tiny chipolatas I total so not even proper sausages. There was much more bread than sausage. Very disappointing and not good value for money. Not sure I will bother going eating there again.

We popped in this morning for breakfast.
Have the chefs changed?
The breakfast was not good quality. Cold toast, uncooked tomatoes and mushrooms that felt and tasted microwaved. No seasoning. It was all a little insipid, lacking in care or professional pride.
We left food on our plates and were not asked by any staff, why or if there was an issue.
£26 for 2 breakfasts and drinks. It needs to be better quality.
We used to enjoy eating here but have had 2 very disappointing meals in the past few months.
In future we will take our custom elsewhere.

I often shop for my groceries at The Green Grocers and absolutely love it for its local /organic/ low waste produce, but this was my first time trying out the adjoining pizza restaurant. Simple menu but extremely delicious and the price is surprisingly low. If you live in Norwich or nearby please support this fantastic local business.

I have posted a deeper review of The Green Grocer’s in Norwich before, so this is just a quick one to say how much I enjoyed my recent visit as it is always such a pleasure. I go to GG every time I’m in Norwich, and it is always brilliant. Lovely staff, wonderful food. Check out my breakfast (smashed avocado…) it was a work of art. Utterly delicious, and great value for money. In the words of Arnie, I’ll be back…

We came with friends and very much enjoyed being in this chilled cafe. The food was lovely and decent portions. The coffee was tasty and the staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely visit again.

Charming restaurant with great food. Hidden away in the plaza it's likely mostly locals that visit. The best English breakfast I had while on vacation.
