Passing by on our way somewhere else to be honest, saw the carvery and decided to give it a try, always wary because we live behind the clock tower and have never had a good experience, having said that this was very nice! Hot, plentiful and tasty, the staff were pleasant and this location is nicely furnished and generally felt... More

Been here a few times, normally good service, but today 16th March at 18:50 the service rated at most 2 out of 10, the guy who took our order at the bar was ok, the guy serving the carvery can best be described as rude, we paid for desserts on ordering, but because we didn't give the waitress our order... Came today with the family... told it was 30 min wait.. was.more like 60 mins! Had to wait in a bar area for a table... we were then to taken to the table where another drinks order was taken. Half of the table went for food, which was very poor quality, undercooked potatoes, greasy parsnips, uncooked stuffing, thin gravy and... More

Just had the bar menu but food very nice. The sandwich I wanted wasn't on the menu but it was soon made to order with no fuss. Not very busy, so loads of space and big car park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced

Big dining area, and friendly staff. Carvery was good - Beef & Gammon nicely cooked - but, none of it very warm ! As we were there early evening, as trade increased the top-up looked hot.

Visited here on Saturday lunchtime, big car park- in need of urgent repair though! Restaurant is huge lots of space. Most of us went for the carvery which is excellent, and you can get a plate for free for kids in high-chair. The carvery has a good selection of meats and small but well cooked selection of vegetables. Service was... More

We usually go here with my 7 and 4 year old boys and this is their favourite restaurant. The kids soft play area has a separate admission free from the restaurant. I usually eat then carver which is usually good.

Great time and good service. 35 of our Foster Carers were invited to an appreciation lunch and all enjoyed the atmosphere, meal and service. Special mention to the following people, Richard, Manager who helped with arranging this event, Olivia for being great on the day and Dave who helped throughout. We will be back.
