Great location right on the A65 and they are dog friendly which is helpful! Overall the food was very good, I wouldn't go as far as excellent but it definitely hit the spot and the black pudding was probably the best I've ever had! The menu is also fairly extensive and what made the place a 5/5 was the whole... More

We come as a family group , 9months to mid 60's and are always made to feel welcome and valued. Lunchtime is preferred, to fit in with children's schedules. Food always good, service attentive...and two high chairs (which are always clean with no "sticky" bits.....most important!) Since the dining room has been redecorated it feels much more homely too.

Booked one night stay at short notice. Lovely comfy quiet room. We ate at the premises and so glad we did. Lovely menu and nice portion size meals. Highly recommend the fish pie with roast vege and the halloumi salad. Dessert we had the coffe/pudding combo which was a small serve with any hot drink. Good valye and again, delicious.... More

Had the chicken parfait, pig cheek, and cream brule with crumble. Probably one of the nicest meals I've had to be honest. Good service too, I'd definitely recommend it.

Sitting on the south western edge of the dales this is a great base. The restaurant is really good serving top notch food at good prices. The staff are friendly and eager to please. Second visit, last time wished we stayed two nights this time we did. Settle not a great place and not a place for real ale fans,... More

We were taken to the craven Arms by family that live local. We wanted a hearty Sunday lunch and this was just the place! The staff are really friendly, we booked a table and were offered drinks and seated quickly. Made our order and the food was with us within 15minutes. Beautiful pink beef, huge Yorkshire puddings and crisp roast... More
