Just what needed after a long hike along the Cleveland Way- good simple homely food, a nice cup of tea and lovely staff (and good value). Was very friendly and welcoming to me as a solo diner on a sunny evening in Whitby.

A very small place but vet good local food. Restaurants is packed all the time with the locals and restaurants. Very homely atmosphere.

Visiting Monks Haven Café for breakfast. Service was spot on with very attentive staff and breakfast was good value, a good size and very well cooked. Top marks and will visit again next time in Whitby.
