Stumbled on this place by chance & what a find. Hubby had coffee with a scone, butter & jam whilst I had a lovely hot chocolate with a scone, butter & jam. French music played in the background. Not to loud that it spoils conversation. Staff very friendly & efficient. Highly recommend.

There are a couple of tables outside and 3 tables inside next to the counter and cake display. Upstairs there are 2 rooms with additional tables. The cakes were sooooo tempting and delicious. The coffee was good and the ambiance was perfect.

Came across this quirky 2 storey tearoom whilst wandering in the older part of the town. Very compact seating downstairs but get up to the 1st floor if u can manage the narrow, twisty staircase. Choose from the 2 rooms, 1 at the back and front [both lovely]. Full of old fashioned charm! We were lucky enough to sit at... More

Lovely staff, dog friendly, great quality of food and excellent value for money. The coffee is first rate and the homemade scones are top notch. I can't say more.

Came in , found table ,took off coats sat down. Went to counter to choose cakes and coffee. At no point did any staff even speak to us .after I ordered I then found they didn't take a card and not having enough cash we had to sadly leave. This problem does need addressing as why loose customers? Cakes did look... More

Been here a few years ago and remembered how much I liked the place so came again. The coffee was probably the best I'd had during my stay and the whole feel of the place from the vintage music (had a 30's feel to it) to the decor just made this place a gem.

never a disappointment - this quirky little café is a must to visit. The cakes are out of this world and there are gluten free options as well

Popped in here for a cup of tea. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The cakes are amazing! Lemon meringue pie was huge and I struggled to finish it. Tasted delicious, as did the banoffee pie. We were seriously tempted by many of the cakes are were spoiled for choice. There isn't a great deal of space inside and the... More
