Popped in for tea and cake, was a bit worried as little seating but found more upstairs. Staff great, prices decent for tourist spot. Food excellent! We only had tea and scones but they were really fresh and tasted superb. Place has a good atmosphere going . Would certainly visit again

We spotted the Patisserie whilst ambling through the quaint streets of Whitby and this window boasted the most impressive looking cakes! I hinted to my partner later on and he brought me back to satisfy my need for cake. The shop is quirky and quaint and the cake was lovely! Recommend.

We have had lunch here on two occasions and both were very good. The sandwiches are very nice and the scones excellent. Also the tea is very good. inside, the building can be described as "quaint" or "cramped" depending on your perspective. The stairs to the seating area upstairs are steep and curved so not good if you are not... More

We went in for a slice of cake, coffee and hot chocolate. We were not disappointed, we got a large very tasty slice of cake each and the drinks were not small either. Will definitely being making a return visit :)

Visited this tiny quaint tea room to escape the horrible weather and enjoyed a nice atmosphere with great cake, very steep staircase to upstairs seating but worth the climb.

We have been to Marie Antoinette's many times over the past few years. They always have delicious cakes and buns. The coffee is very good. It is always warm and cosy. Dogs are welcome on the ground floor. We will be back :-)

We just wanted a liitle something to tide us over between a huge breakfast and an evening meal and this little coffee shop is ideal. It's got two little rooms upstairs, which are both quite sweet, although most of the tables seem to seat only 2 people. I had the most enormous piece of carrot cake and hubby had Apple and... More

We had a lovely day around Whitby and needed a warm up and snack. The lady was friendly and helpful. We had hot chocolate and cake. The cakes were lovely and moist and generous portions. It is a place over walked past many times but not had the opportunity to call in. We will be calling in again when we... More

Called in today with my wife and 4 year old on a cold day for a hot cuppa and a cake. Coffee was nice, cakes weren't great on this occasion frangipan tart a little too greasy not quite right for some reason? Nice decor and a pleasant enough place to call; nice to see an independent small business.

Thank Joe D
