I booked this restaurant for 12 people on Friday 11th January for 23rd March, they took a £60.00 deposit, never at any point telling me it was non-refundable. On Wednesday 16th January the accommodation we had booked in Whitby was cancelled due to no fault...More

Popped in for a drink. Strangest pub I've ever been in. Having said that we lived it. Very dark and narrow bar area. Chandeliers. Limited seating. Back room for diners. Looked great. We will return. Downside...expensive drinks IMO. Friendly barman.

The setting is lovely and we've eaten here many times, and I think overall this is a good choice for anyone looking before a meal. We went recently as a group of 8, at the end our bill mistakenly undercharged us by about £90 and...More

Two of us booked Christmas Lunch and were looking forward to what sounded like an interesting meal. The starter soup was acceptable but the risotto was watery, unimaginatively pressented and served in a cold dish. I asked the waitress to reheat this dish which she...More

Came here for a meal after it had been recommended to us and we were very disappointed. It is very over priced for what you get. My wife ordered the fish & chips, when it came it was mostly batter and very little white fish,...More

I came here with a friend for Sunday lunch after looking at reviews. We both had beef. That was actually the problem. It was as tough as old boots. After paying nearly £30 for two meals you should not have to eat tough beef. The...More
