Booked a groupon for a seafood platter. The platter was well-presented but not what we were expecting. There was no crab, which had been advertised as part of the platter. Instead, it was replaced with cold mussels which we left because they were awful. The...More

I called in on Tuesday for a quick cup of coffee and one of Hammond's delicious scones. Everything was excellent- the tearooms are spotlessly clean, the food very good and the young man who served me was polite and efficient and friendly. The only place...More

We had booked a Seafood Platter for two via Groupon & were pleased we had. The staff, contrary to a recent review, were friendly & helpful. The food was well presented &, best of all, was tasty.

Hi. Just to let you know that we had our Groupon seafood platter with Prosecco this week and i am pleased to say that an alcohol licence is in place. We were both given a 200ml bottle of Prosecco to accompany the platter.A table had been reserved in the window and the process could not have been simpler. Excellent food, drink, service and value. J.C.

we have booked and paid for the Groupon deal, seafood platter with a bottle of prosecco, arranging to visit next thursday 1/12/16. I have read a recent review saying that the tearoom does not have an alcohol licence and that there is a case for false advertising. Can you please clarify. many thanks. J.C.
