Found this tea rooms in Whitby today quite by accident but we will certainly be back. Both food and service were excellent. Quite small and the entrance is at the rear of the jewellery shop but the decor is smart and welcoming.

Lovely fresh sandwiches with crab, prawns and mackerel, 2 slices of cakes and cheese scones with cream cheese and chutney which was unusual. I requested to the waitress that we would prefer fruit scones with cream and jam and she said it is traditional in Whitby....More

Another groupon voucher that did not disappoint. Fresh seafood platter with gluten free bread and a massive pot of Yorkshire tea ( maybe 6 cups) served by very friendly staff. Will make it a regular stop on our future visits to Whitby.

Eventually found this hidden gem, upstairs above the lovely jewellers. Very friendly staff, nice sitting at the side of the window watching people passing. Not too busy when we visited which was great as most cafes we went into were very busy. Lovely coffee, great...More

This is by no means the easiest tea room to find, being hidden away in the upstairs of the jewellers. But I cannot stress enough how glad were to have stumbled upon it. The atmosphere is lovely, with pleasant views of the bustling cobbled lanes...More
