Called in this morning only wanting a cuppa. The lady couldnt do enough for us making sure we had a heater next to our table. She certainly went the extra mile and we will return for more substantial fare in the future

We called in for a drink late in the afternoon and although the notice on the door suggested she was going to close imminently, she said she was doing drinks only, no food. So we had a seat inside and ordered coffee and hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows of course!). And sat and chatted to the owner and read... More

Popped in for breakfast, nice and friendly. The food was good but disappointed that we weren't given the option of butter, toast came with margarine spread on it.

Popped in for a couple of breakfasts rolls before heading on a coastal walk. Nice soft cobs, everything cooked perfectly, great price sorted us for the day ahead. We would visit again.

Tried a few cafes, this one takes first place, ordered 2 small sausage sandwiches for the kids, and 2 large bacon and tomato for us, big mistake, small were big, and large were super size, at prices that are more than acceptable, nobody leaves here hungry, tea and coffee very good. All the staff were very efficient and friendly and did... More

Had breakfast baps on two occassions whilst in Whitby. Good start to the day with freshly cooked ingridents. Tea served in mugs, a good builders brew! Pleasant decor within very clean surroundings, fun service provided by the owner who was happy to chat and provided plenty of humour. Good value breakfast.

Popped in here for breakfast and almost did an about turn as it smells like a greasy spoon but we were too far in to leave without being embarrassed. The food was average but the coffee undrinkable.

Small but clean and friendly cafe in a central area. Need to spend some time here to read all the funnies decorating the walls. Staff very attentive of customer needs and service given with a smile. Food cooked fresh as ordered.

A chance visit when passing was worthwhile with a lovely host. Cafe: small cafe decorated tastefully and appeared clean and tidy. Welcomes children (highchair was clean and in good order) and a range of toys available. Food: I went for the sausage/egg bap which was to a good standard (bap was huge) and cooked to order. Staff: genuinely lovely, couldn't... More
