Called in because we had a meeting nearby. The daily special, liver, bacon, mash, Yorks. pudding, looked great. However, we were not that hungry so ordered the scampi and chips. High quality scampi, proper chips, nice garnish. Portions are huge. Will certainly return.

A little outside of the main areas central to the river, but worth the few minutes up melrosegate. Great value on drinks for students (trebles for the price of singles). Low beams so watch your head! Pleasant beer garden.

Just been for a drink and meal which we all agreed was tasty and very good value. Nice atmosphere in the pub. We'll be back and hope more locals support them - they deserve it.
