We visited The Three Tuns several times whilst staying in York, It became our local for the weekend. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was great, tasty and presented very well with a good quick service and a good selection of Beers.

Lamb shank was delicious. My mom had a baked spud and thought it was lovely. I've knocked my score down to a 4/5 because if you sit at the tables by the toilets you can smell those blue things they drop in the mens urinal.

Traditional, old pub with a decent selection of beers. We were here on a busy Saturday afternoon and the service was fast and efficient. We ordered the fish and chips, the portion was huge, with excellent chips and freshly battered fish.

Very friendly pub and the food is very tasty. Looks a bit old and dated from the outside but very cosy and traditional inside.

This was our second visit and if anything it was better than the last one. Friendly staff, good food and a relaxed atmosphere in a lovely old building. Thoroughly recommended.

Came in here today because I'd heard good things about the burgers. I am so glad I did. The chips are proper skin-on, salt and pepper chips and the burger with smoked cheese tasted amazing. The fish and chips that my other half had also...More
