Good food and great atmosphere. Old pub that has not been modernised. We always make point of popping in here whilst in York.

My favorite little pub in York. Good selection of ales and better than average pub grub. I like the old-world feeling of the exterior facade as well as the low ceilings and exposed beams of the interior.

Popped in for a light bite after a morning taking in York. Friendly staff, fair prices and very generous portions on the sandwiches. Would recommend a visit if you're passing by.
