Leading the Independent coffee shops / cafes / establishments of York I reckon. A real asset to the city and great stop off on the way to the station or on the way back to home.
Four for coffee and bite found us inside in this historic tower which is very nicely done out in an informal way. The Capucicinos and Flat Whites were perfect and the cinnamon toast crisp but succulent too. We will return.
Taken here by DD as it was her local cafe while working in York. Quick, polite service and lovely food. I'd definitely recommend the Perky Peacock. Excellent toasted sandwiches and delicious flapjacks.
