Staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and make my niece feel very special. Food was wonderful and generous portion sizes! Delicious tea, amazing egg and cress sandwiches and a great selection of 6 cakes. Literally couldn’t recommend this place enough! Book immediately!

Having passed this themed cafe many times, we called in to try out the coffee and cake. Pleasant ambience and service but on balance felt that it was a bit pricey; scones come with minimal jam and wrapped butter plus cream in a jar; it...More

Obviously had to try the cake in this place, to see if it lived up to its name. I had carrot cake which was delicious. They were mixing and baking the cakes at the back of the cafe. It’s a busy little place near Clifton...More

What a delightful place for breakfast. We found this quite by accident: it was just around the corner from where we were staying. The scones were huge, and the specialty coffee delicious. I loved the WWII-era decor of the shop, complete with original ration books...More

It's all about the cakes. Extensive range of delicious cakes. Quite limited savoury and hot food. Old fashioned cups, teapots etc. Somewhere to take your granny for afternoon tea.
