Pub grub menu as expected. Service was good and food was good too. Good value for money and nice Olde Worldy astmosphere.

A popular place with good atmosphere but too dark to read the menu and very noisy. Be good for a drinking night out with friends but not a relaxed evening as a couple.

Great choice of snacks which were a good size, there were 4 of us and each one had something different to eat and drink. Each meal was excellent band above the average for this type of pub. One of our group is a chef and he was impressed to say the least. Would I go there again?? Final test of... More

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by two very friendly staff. Our little dog received a bowl of water when we sat down. Dogs are allowed anywhere downstairs. We had the Mexican chicken wrap with chips and a door stop of a cheese sandwich with salad. They were both delicious. The cheese and chutney was... More

Wanted a quick bite to eat as we've eaten here before we knew we would get a good meal. Good gastropub menu and it doesn't taste like it's come out of a microwave ! Always have various different offers on and a good selection of beers and wine!

Prompt service, not a huge menu but enough variety for the three in our party to find something that appealed. A sandwich, chips and a pint of local ale was a good value option for £9, and the steak pie was also impressive with good quality filling. Nice atmosphere and well located if around the shambles area.

Amazing food. Amazing chips! Friendly staff and atmosphere. Steak and ale pie and steak burger with hellfire cheese and bacon went down a treat.

Have not eaten here, but have had drinks on several occasions on the way out to dine. Good atmosphere and good list of gins. Sandwich and a pint offers and two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30 on a Friday. A favourite is the Malbec on offer !

Thank Stuart N
