Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Recently visited here with my daughter for a bite to eat and absolutely loved it. Never been before and not what I expected at all. Massive sports bar with tvs everywhere so you had loads of room to watch sport on tv. Spotlessly clean throughout,...great service and food really good value for money. Really cosy inside despite its massive interior and could quite happily stayed all afternoon! Comfy sofas, all lit up for Christmas and a really great atmosphere. Will definitely drive over for lunch again soon!More

Dinner was nice unfortunately the order was messed up and they did not put one of the meals on. We tried ordering the ice cream dessert for kids meal and was told it wasn’t included in the meal despite it being on the menu…

We went for a game of snooker, me and my 2 sons last week. which I had called on 2 separate occasions, to ask if you needed to be a member. which i was told no, you just turn up and play. so we went...last week had a couple of games and left, went back this week, there was something behind the counter that resembled a manager. He told us we needed to make a member, which wasn’t the problem. I had my id on me and was ready to make a member there and then, but he then said well you have to call this number give them your info and they’ll send you out a card. Once you get the card in the post then you can come and play. I have been in plenty of snooker halls but never one that you wasn’t allowed to play a game while you were there. I told him that I’d already checked twice that yous don’t have to make a member. but you could see they didn’t want you there, and it wasn’t like we could sign up even though I had my id on me, and play a game straight away. Basically a big fuss to get you out the door. I then told him to shove he’s club where the sun don’t shine. I won’t stay in a place that I know are racist pieces of s—t. The cheek of him to be racist have you seen it. Looks like something out of the hunchback of notre dame. If it wasn’t for my 2 sons I wouldn’t be there in the first place. I only go for the sake of them other wise I wouldn’t be caught in a place like that. It looks like a dive. Inside and out. Well they can keep their little pool hall as there’s plenty more welcoming and friendly places that I’d rather spend my money with. Than a load of racists that thinks it’s still ok for them to discriminate against a minority in 2022. But that’s what you get with small minded people. Oh and just in case anyone thinks it’s just me rambling here is a screen shot of another member that you can see for your self. Clearly they don’t need to make a member just the ones he doesn’t want in he’s flashy pool hall.More

Fantastic staff, quality food, brilliant for watching sport, what else could you possibly ask for? Oh yeah, 20 snooker tables, countless pool tables and dart boards everywhere. My son and I would live there if we could!!

As a Barratts regular I chose Ham, Egg & Chips tonight for the first time. Plenty of slices of moist ham, a plate full of very hot chips and two beautifully cooked eggs. Perfect accomplishment to a game of snooker with friends. Highly recommended.

Hello, Was told I can’t wear my high vis and boots into a majority working men’s pub. I understand after 7pm on a sat or Sunday but a week day is a smart way to lose 80% of your income

I run the UKs top Pro-Am snooker events and this venue has huge potential for much more to come... from the moment I entered the club, to spending the whole weekend here, the club looked after me and 16 of the UK's top amatuer snooker...players. This clubs resident professionals and other full time amateurs let us use their tables for monthly weekends. This club has huge potential as many big clubs struggle to promote large snooker areas. I hope to convince the club to upgrade a couple of tables for coaching, events and much more.. oh, and great breakfast, lunch, and dinner too @proamsnookeruk Dave lewisMore

4 times in a row now where the staff guess which real ales are actually on tap. Today was a busy sporting day with rugby and football on tv, but the barman said no real ales for 2 hours as he had only just changed...them. Surely you would have the foresight to have them ready for a busy day? I always give the benefit of the doubt, but 4 times in a row now? Today we left at half time and watched the second half in another pub.More

Great snooker club, excellent tables and not too expensive. Sadly their food is truly dreadful and expensive......so avoid. Service is also poor, do not expect too many smiles!

I've been here for a couple of times cause it is in my area but I cannot say that I'm a fan. The food and drinks are alright but the environment itself it's not ideal as the TV is always too laud (more than the...necessary). Because it is in our area we can just walk but it has a car park if necessary which is good.More
