Waited over an hour after first course!! Had money back as main course didn’t appear! Starters were poor & nachos returned as missing half ingredients! Staff incompetent ! A memorable evening for all the wrong reasons!
Typical marstons pub, good menu, service at both bar and table was quick and pleasant.
Pub could do with a lick of paint to freshen things up.
First time visited for many a year but would defiantly return when in the area.

Solid two4one pub, usual pub menu. Friendly staff. You can't go wrong. Been there dozens of times. The garden is nice (when weather permits). You can combine your visit at lunchtime with a trip over the road to the super-interesting Antique Warehouse.
The rooms are out the back of the pub, so tucked away and pretty quiet despite being in a car park.
I had a single room as it was all that was left, it was quite a small room, but good use of space.
